RG3 should win ROTY. But I think Wilson could steal it if Luck/RG3 split votes.

I also believe it's RGIII for Rookie of the Year.

I think 49ers got this for NFC, and AFC will come down to Broncos and Patriots. Which will be an awesome match.

ROTY = RGIII

Luck is 2nd rate in comparison, and out of the rookies Wilson is by far my fav, love his determination, but RGIII is ridiculously explosive through the air and on the ground, getting it done with an inferior D.

MVP = AP

Manning is runner up fo sho, Denver could get into the playoffs with most any QB as they proved last year. No way Minnesota makes the playoffs without AP.

Post Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Two things work against RGIII: Kirk Cousins replacement week where he didn't look like a big step down from RGIII and the season of Alfred Morris which brings up the question if RGIII is even the best rookie on his own team.

And Wilson's early season struggles have a reason: The Seahawks were supposed to go with Flynn at QB which means during training camp et al. Flynn got probably even if not more reps than Wilson. This explain why he had struggled early and makes his development even more remarkable.

I think it will either be Peterson or Brady for MVP.

RG3 or Wilson for ROTY.

Luck is not even close to ROTY caliber for the 2012 season, RGIII, Wilson, Morris and even Martin are much better choices.

And yet he'll win it over more deserving rookies

There's a big chance Luck will win ROY. There's an even bigger thing Coach of the Year goes to Indy completely ignoring that the success of both RGIII and Morris is only a product of genius playcalling. That's why in my book Shanahan is Coach of the Year and Wilson instead of RGIII is ROY

Go Broncos!!!

Although many people for some reason block out the Jake Plummer season (in which we were a Champ Bailey dropped pick six for controlling the AFC Championship game and going to the Super Bowl), this definitely feels like a late 90s Elway team. A rematch with Green Bay would be great!

Vegas has Broncos favored to win it all 3-1 odds.
Pats 2nd 4-1 followed by Packers & 49ers at 5-1.
Seahawks 6-1 and Texans 7-1 :lol:

Not to take anything away from Wilson ( he had a great Rookie season ) but the wins, especially at home, were due largely to the amazing defense.

Luck and RGIII both are taking teams last year that sucked to the playoffs. Very impressive.

Indy coaches should get coach of the year. That team was AWFUL last year.

The team is still mediocre. They just got a great record out of it

Andy Reid might not be staying unemployed long
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/88090 ... fs-sources

As a Chiefs fan, I think he is a good hire. I really think Reid just needs a change of scenery. Reid is still a very good coach and can turn around the Chiefs. They need someone who can come in there and change that climate and push the GM around or out the door.

As an Eagles fan I'm happy for a change but I don't take anything away from Andy Reid. I still think he's a great coach and agree that he needed a new environment.

It will be interesting to see who hires Chip Kelly. I'm thinking by mid-January he's going to be hired somewhere in the NFL with it most likely being Cleveland, Buffalo or Philly. Then it will be interesting to see if he can be successful in the big leagues.

I think both just needed a change. 12 years is a long time to coach. Also, it is pretty much official and Reid will be the head coach. I think the Chiefs have talent. They just need better coaching and a QB. Now should they draft one or go after a veteran. I was glad they fired Pioli. He was a horrible GM and made some major mistakes.

To me, Glennon from N.C. State is their guy. However, this morning on Mike and Mike, Mel Kiper said Glennon isn't 1st pick caliber.

You could keep Cassell as the starter (hoping he doesn't get hurt), while developing him.

Yeah Glennon might be top 10 but don't think the Chiefs can trade down. They could get somebody like Aaron Murray or Tyler Bray in the second round. Murray I like and he could be a good QB. I think Cassell is done. I suspect they will cut him and then bring in a veteran not sure who.

Geno Smith is the best QB in this draft. But I don't think he's quite as good as Luck/RG3/Wilson. But he's close.
