Get a DVR. You can watch both, without commercials.

 Re: New Girl
Last night's episode was great. Nick has been amazing so far this season. I loved his scene with the water massage And also Jess's meltdown over the dog in the cup at the job interview I love this show.

Jess' interview was the funniest moment Zooey Deschenal has ever had on this show. And I can't even talk about all of the Nick stuff. He has become one of the best sitcom characters on TV. Looooving this show this season.

 Re: New Girl
Cute episode tonight but not as great as last years Thanksgiving episode, which still cracks me up.

 Re: New Girl
Yeah, I really liked last night's episode. The Parent Trap-ping was hilarious, especially when Jess and all the roommates kept spying on her parents in the bathroom.

"I thought everyone knew. You grieve so publicly on Instagram, with all those pictures of trees and your lunches."
Loved Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner.

 Re: New Girl
Another great, hilarious episode tonight. I felt bad for Cece though. I hope this leads to her and Schmidt reconciling.

 Re: New Girl
Schmidt's scene in the gynecologist's office with the insane euphemisms was a thing of beauty. I dunno if that was improvised by Max Greenfield or what, but bravo.
Cece has also become a surprisingly well-developed character.
"Whoa, what bit my face?" said Mike Jr. to Mike Sr. who sucks." "Mike Sr. sucks, that's a recurring theme throughout this."

 Re: New Girl
I had a realization while watching the last episode that this has become one of my very favorite shows. It kind of snuck up on me. The fact that this and Happy Endings continue to air in the same time period and hurt each other is beyond sad. It reminds me of when Parenthood and The Good Wife were airing against each other.

 Re: New Girl
Great episode last night! The whole Winston-Schmidt storyline was comedy gold, as well as Jess and Nick's reactions to absinthe The Olivia Munn exit was a little abrupt, but I suppose it made sense in context.

 Re: New Girl
I wish the entire episode had been Nick as Julius Pepperwood. Jake Johnson is so good.
I'd enjoy if the Julius Pepperwood pseudonym popped up a few times again, like Phoebe's Regina Phalange identity on Friends.
