According to CNN, the Republicans will keep control of the House of Representatives.

 Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Florida is still basically tied with 72% of precincts in. That's insane.

 Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
It looks like Obama has closed the gap in the popular vote a tiny bit.

Why can't that state ever make up its mind? lol Look at the counties that still have a lot of votes not reported: Miami-Dade (15% reported, Obama leading 62/38), Broward (24%, 71/29), big population area where Obama will pick up votes as they're counted.

And Obama is not out of NC yet. He is trailing, but Charlotte just started reporting.

Yeah I am very unwilling to get confident. But I do believe there's reason for optimism.

 Re: 2012 ELECTION DISCUSSION
Unless I am missing something, Obama should win Florida by enough to avoid a recall, because most of the remaining votes will come from stronger Obama territories. At this point in the election is where Gore came roaring back from being 100k down. The urban precincts tend to be the last ones to report. Obama has not lost much from his 2008 performance and has been able to gain in the Jewish and Latino percentages.
