 Dexter - Season 7
Season 6 was one of the worst jumped the shark moments I've seen a previously great show have. It just became completely retarded. However I love the previews and people catching onto Dexter has always had the potential to be a great season

At least they have an endgame in mind now.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Yeah...still not too good. Other than the Deb stuff nothing is really up to par and all gets dealt with a little too lazily for my tastes.
Having said that, though, the end scene between Deb and Dexter has been such a long time coming and I would've been immensely pleased if we got to see that whole conversation play out right then. After a half decade of jerking viewers around it sure would have felt like a nice reward to get the exposed nerve kind of interaction of what that would do to them.
In theory it could still happen next week, but the moment's already kind of gone. Also, I wish there was some way to watch the show with all the horrible "THIS IS EXPOSITION!!" narration removed.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Premiere was OK - the ending was probably the best part as well as the opening 15 minutes. I hope it picks up momentum, though I've accepted the fact that this show will never be as good as it was during season four - as much as I want it to be.

I literally can watch this show now by paying attention to the first ten minutes and the last ten minutes and then doing other things during the middle half because nothing interesting happens. Not sure if that's a good sign

So far I feel like Dexter is back. Great 2 episodes, on par with S1-S5

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
I loved the first 2 Episodes, I thought this Dexter at it's best. We could be in for a great great season. And I sure hope this Victor stuff isn't going to drag the show down.
Anyone else think that Desmond Harrington looks really skinny this season?

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Another fantastic episode. I really like how they handle the Dexter/Deborah situation so far. I'm still not the biggest fan of the storyline with the russian guy but I hope that get's better soon. Loved the scene with Dexter and Hannah. Really well acted. I thought the ending was pretty sad with Dexter getting 'released' from Debs cage.

I dunno, I'm not really feeling this season. Though Ray Stevenson is awesome.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
If the season stays as good as it is now, this is going to come seriously close to the greatness of season 4.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Finally caught up with all the episodes. So far its better than season 5 and 6 but still nowhere in par with seasons 1,2 and 4. How many more seasons do they have left for the show since I dont see it dragging this long for another 2-3 seasons?

Dexter did it again. Another fantastic episode. I really love the Dexter/Hannah scenes. Stevenson was such a bad-ass.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Not sure how I feel about the latest episode. I kinda feel like the show jumped the shark again with the Dexter/female dark passenger thing all over again but I'm intrigued by the Dexter/Hannah dynamic.
Didn't Harry kill himself? Or did I miss something about how he succumbed to heart disease?
I was waiting for someone to mention that Debra let Dexter/Lumen go in the first place. Poor writing there.
Can someone tell Desmond Harrington to get help or something? The past 2-3 seasons he has looked like a skeleton and every time he's on screen, he always takes me out of the scene because I can't help but wonder what the hell happened to his face.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
Great season so far. To Quinn and Batista I'd actually predict Batista dies like in the next 2 episodes. That puts the blood on Quinn's hands for getting dirty with the Russians, and eventually sets him up for a redemption/sacrifice death in the season finale, IMO. Also killing them both in the series finale or last 2 episodes, seems like it'd be too close together. I think Batista gets his one day running the restaurant and then it's curtains big guy

Yeah, the writing is on the wall for Quinn and Batista. I really don't want to see Batista killed off - he's damn cool man.

 Re: Dexter - Season 7
I'll be happy if Quinn is gone. The guy is just annoying and takes up space. It also doesnt help that hes such a douchebag and fucked up alot of cases because he becomes easily manipulated since he lets his dick do the talking. I do wish at times that Dexter would have used saran wrap on him
