 "666 Park Avenue" (Season 1)
Watched the pilot tonight and thought it was very well-done. Very atmospheric, surprisingly creepy (the elevator scene comes to mind) and there seems to be a lot of potential here. Both Terry O'Quinn and Vanessa Williams were great.
I hope ratings pick up a bit. It's just on such a competitive night.

I didn't watch. Don't really want to get into it unless ratings do indeed pick up a bit.

I can't imagine it being good. It co-stars Vanessa Williams.

It was odd, which is set out to be. The lead blonde actress is likeable enough, but the whhole show is just not mysterious enough to be interesting or scary enough to be suspenseful.

I feel like they didn't present what the show is actually about. There are hints but the pilot needs to have an obvious setup. Is it a haunted mansion type of house? Is it some kind of Faustian deal with the devil type of a show? And either way it wasn't a compelling pilot. It was OK, not bad, but for a type of a show it is, there wasn't a clear hook on which the viewers should be caught on.

I watched the premiere, it was just - okay. The way it moved along reminded me of "Alcatraz", kind of slow leaving many questions with few answers. 666 is more intriguing, atmospheric & better acted though.
If it does in fact, get cancelled, it won't shock me.

And I'm expecting it to get cancelled, which is unfortunate. But I'll keep checking it out while it lasts. I liked Rachael Taylor in the lead.

This was mostly pretty terrible but I love O'Quinn so I'm torn.

It's clear ABC sees her as a draw after that series which is why they placed that holding deal on her that allowed her to join "Desperate Housewives" and now this series. I have no doubt if this fails they'll put her on something else.

Re: "666 Park Avenue" (Season 1)
The last episode was great - I hope with the ratings uptick this past week it manages to air all its episodes/possibly turn the script order into an extended run as well.

Ugh, I gave up on this show after episode 3 - it's just meandering about and not progressing.
