Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
God I love this show. The ratings make me sad. This deserves at least 2 more seasons.

"Well, it is the size of a child..." That was was obvious though. ...how? That's funny. Don't tell me that when she pulled out that cup and asked that question you didn't know the answer?

I really don't want to discuss the predictability of a single line of dialogue in a sitcom, but that's still a funny joke. Everything with the soda sizes was.

It's not a single line though. The antics of P&R have become very predictable.

That cup joke was hilarious. I've honestly been quoting it for days now.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
P&R has always been on the nose about its social references, but they totally fit into the cartoonish nature of Pawne itself. And it's almost always funny (IMO).

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
Ben and Leslie forever. OH MY GOD, the proposal scene. The level of funny and adorable is just out of control. Amy Poehler should win the Emmy for that scene alone.
Between this week's episodes of Parks & Rec and Parenthood, NBC has siphoned off more of my tears than usual.
Everything else was also wonderful: Donna live tweeting, Jerry's fart attack.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
These past two episodes have been perfect. Whether it is Tom in court with his tweets, Donna live tweeting (one of her best show moments), or the proposal scene. Just great all around.

Leslie, to Secret Service after meeting Joe Biden: "You don't let anything happen to him, you understand me? He is precious cargo!"

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
The last episode was great. Tammy II!
Also, Jerry's family being all beautiful women will never not be funny. Especially since Christie Brinkley, of all people, played his wife.

This show is really something special. It manages to be so funny and heartwarming at the same time. Loved the round of bachelor parties.

Yeah, the parts with the bachelor parties was awesome, too bad the bachelorette one was pretty lame. (I thought the Lincoln stripper was pretty funny though)

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
I found Ann being awkward with the kids to be the highlight of last night's episode, which I don't think has ever happened before. Rashida Jones is great, but Ann is obviously the show's designated straight man so she never really gets to stand out much.
Ann: "So...you guys like Coldplay?" Girl: "You're weird." Ann: "You're..." (runs out of room)

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
And the wedding itself was amazing obviously, but to me the most touching moments were definitely the Leslie/Ron ones - the jail scene and then the moment where Ron says "You're a wonderful person, you mean a lot to me and you look beautiful." So moving.

I didn't like the wedding episode as much as The Office Wedding episode....but it was still good.
Totally agree with you on the Ron/Leslie interactions. They were great.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
I, of course, teared up at Ben and Leslie's wedding. Parks & Rec just has the most heart. It's, like, a visual representation of love and friendship.

Re: Parks & Recreation (Season 4)
This show is like the equivalent of a hilarious basket of hugs, or something. I don't know how they do it.
Ben: "Went back to Fringe season 1 to see if there were any plot holes. Just as I suspected: AIR. TIGHT."
Leslie, on Jerry's performance review from years before: "Why would anyone be so mean? Wait, I wrote that...I stand by it."
