What's annoyed me this season is that the judges never seem to disagree. They always either love a person or hate a person unanimously.

Also, I actually think she's a good judge thus far and very likable, but it is flat out bizarre to me that some of the contestants are so ecstatic to meet Demi Lovato. It seems like more are excited for her than Britney.

Demi Lovato is more relatable. She opened up about her issues and seems to be trying to grow. We're supposed to forget that up to maybe two years ago, Britney went batshit for a few years.

Also, to be fair, Britney's peak was 2001-2002. Anyone thinking she's still as big today is romanticizing the past big time. Demi isn't close to as popular as Britney in any way, but I was more excited to see her as a judge than Britney. Just sayin'.

I do agree with this. And that's where I'm hoping Demi (and Britney) stand out. When live shows start, I don't want "Aw, you look amazing... it wasn't your best vocal performance, but you still gave it your best and I'm proud of you" Paula Abdul/J-Lo BS. I want decisive answers.

Yeah, I'm hoping it will get better once the live shows start. I think that's what is putting "The Voice" ahead of this right now - the judges actually disagree with each other and offer fairly constructive criticism to the people they don't like.

And I actually like Lovato a lot, it's just funny because I never saw her as that big. Has she done anything other than the Camp Rock movies and talking about her rehab stint? I know she's had a few albums and that Disney Channel show, but she never seemed at the same level as, say, Miley Cyrus or even Selena Gomez.

Another good episode tonight but did they really need to do the whole "YO THIS KID MIGHT DIE WATCH US TOMORROW" routine at the end?

I can't wait for the cryfest that occurs when all these 12-14 year-olds get kicked off. Seriously, besides the 16-year-old, the kids were HORRIBLE tonight. But they're "cute" so that means they have to go through or else the judges are the devil to the audience.

Obviously everybody is acting correct, so I'll just go ahead and say it. The fat guy was so bizarre to watch.

I actually loathe that girl with the cheetah print on her face even though she has a decent voice. She needs to go immediately - so unlikable.

Yeah so pretty much Jennel seems like the frontrunner at the moment and I'm fine with that. I agree with thompsoncory though, CeCe needs to go.

They need an age limit. Kids are just so annoying.

Yeah. It was a big deal when it started that there was no age limit, but having kids on here just drags everything down. And you'd think after Rachel Crow's epic meltdown last season that they would've learned their lesson. For every 99 kids that can understand and accept losing, there's 1 Rachel Crow that breaks the fuck down.

Though it did, more or less, get Nicole fired.

I don't even really watch The X Factor but Rachel Crow's elimination last year has to be one of the best television moments in YEARS simply because of how thoroughly owned Nicole Scherzinger was. Hilarious.

I didn't watch last season so I checked her elimination on Youtube just now. Besides Nicol being hilariously crazy, I don't think Rachel had that of an epic meltdown. It looked understandable to me.

I don't know... screaming "You promised me, you promised!" to her Mom was pretty uncomfortable for all involved.

Everything about that entire scene was AMAZING last year. There's NO WAY that this season can top it in any way from Rachel falling on the ground and bawling to the host's baffled look to Nicole looking like an idiot, getting booed and crying. It was so perfect.

When she got booed by the audience, that was pretty much the highlight of the season.

But like, she didn't really get 'fired.' She just got moved across the pond to judge the original British version.

Just like her musical career. When she bombs in one territory she moves to the other. Where she bombs again.

Okay, maybe "fired" isn't the correct term. And Simon felt bad that she got sandbagged for the whole fiasco of Season 1. It can't be because she's a good judge, because she wasn't.

I do agree that those moments were awesome, but it still proves why kids are a gamble. You can't predict how they'll react if they lose. But I suppose that's true of adults too.

It seems that any of the kids that would have caused a "Rachel" moment this season were all kicked off last night so we shouldn't be too worried.
