 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
It may have been change of possession but why wouldn't he still be able to challenge the play anyway starting from when his team had possession? That doesn't make sense.

Started my own draft today. Went awesome. I'm pretty excited, can't wait for the season to start.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
We need Vick. We ain't going anywhere with Foles. I'll give him props for a solid couple of games but it's preseason and it wasn't anything extraordinary.
But if Vick continues to be a little girl, or getting himself in harm's way, we're done. Which is a shame because Eagles are such a deep team this year.
I think we can win NFC East with a healthy Vick.

Going to be seeing a lot of that. The Jet's offense has been putrid this preseason.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Division Winner Predictions
AFC EAST Patriots - No competition in this division. Brady will do what he always does...win.
AFC NORTH Ravens - Their defense is getting old but Ray Rice and an ever improving Flacco make them a pretty good offensive team.
AFC SOUTH Texans - Arian Foster came back with a vengeance last year. Look for more of that this year and even w/ a set back Ben Tate is a more than capable back up.
AFC WEST Broncos - I know Peyton hasn't played ball in a while but a guy that good will get back in the swing of things very quickly. Finally Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker will show us what they can do with a good QB throw to them. Watch out for Ronnie Hillman to help out the aging McGahee.
NFC EAST Eagles - After a very disappointing season last year the Eagles are looking to rebound this year. They greatly improved their defense by signing Demeco Ryans and drafting Fletcher Cox and Michael Kendricks but the key to the Eagles success lies with Vick's health. NFC NORTH Packers - Although they don't have a great option at running back the pass attack led by Aaron Rodgers is second to none.
NFC SOUTH Falcons - Julio Jones, Roddy White and the veteran Tony Gonzalez cause match up nightmares for almost any team they play against. The only team in the division that could challenge them are the Saints but with all the controversy of "Bounty Gate" and some defensive question marks I think the Saints will end up just below the Texans and get a wildcard spot into the playoffs.
NFC WEST 49ers - No contest here. Great defense and a stable of running backs.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
AFC EAST
Patriots 15-1 Bills 9-7 Jets 6-10 Dolphins 6-10
The Patriots are most likely going 13-3 or 14-2, but I went through the schedule and 15-1 is what they should do. I don't like them on the road against the Ravens in Week 3.
AFC North
Ravens 14-2 Steelers 10-6 Bengals 4-12 Browns 2-14
AFC South
Texans 11-5 Titans 8-8 Colts 4-12 Jaguars 3-13
The Texans lost some key players, so I don't think they'll be quite as good as they should've been last year if Schaub had been able to stay healthy.
AFC West
Broncos 12-4 Raiders 9-7 Chargers 8-8 Chiefs 6-10

Alright FIOS! Way to fuck up the Red Zone channel on the first day of the season. It apparently should be fixed at around 8pm. Perfect timing!

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
And we have our first major replacement officials screw-up. To call that pass interference against New Orleans could be game-deciding. That was a horrible call

I think Brandon Lloyd already has more catches than Ochocinco had all of last year.
