Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League Live Draft Sunday Sept 2nd 12pm
What's the sense in having IR spots, since IR means a player is done for the season?

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League Live Draft Sunday Sept 2nd 12pm
Okay guys I need y'all to evaluate my draft picks at my jobs pay-league. 10 players $150 each. Winner gets $1k and 2nd place gets $500. I had the 6th pick in the draft
RB - Lesean MCCOY RB - MJD WR- Wes Welker QB - Vick WR- Fitzgerald TE- Vernon Davis WR- Hakeem Nicks QB- Tony Romo RB- Michael Bush WR-Dwayne Bowe DEF - Steelers WR- Anquan Boldin TE- Owens Daniel K- Lawerance Tynes RB- Dexter McCluster
Do I have a shot at making the top 2???

Romo somehow has alot of fantasy points each year yet Dallas loses so many games. Weird. Overall, I think it's a decent team. McCoy+Romo+Welker seems like a decent competitive foundation.

Even if Vick misses some games, he's still a good QB-pick. He missed 4 in '10-'11 and still finished 2nd overall in fantasy points. If he doesn't get hurt this season, and with McCoy and Welker? You're set.

Brees was tops with 496. Vick was just ahead of Sanchez. Shute, I even looked at him in his good year in 2010 and he was only #6. C'mon Man. Point is he's missing games this year. Darn near got himself knocked out of week 1 from a preseason game. He's too risky and I wouldn't pick him as a starter if I'm expecting to win.

They've been doing it for 3-4 years at the job. It'll be my first year cause I just moved to this branch. I'm excited judging by the other players I'm probably the most hardcore at FF so I have a very good shot at winning this. lol

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League Live Draft Sunday Sept 2nd 12pm
Torrino clocks ticking for you to accept the invite..... We are at an odd number of teams so if anyone knows someone who would like to join PM me ASAP. If we don't fill the slot we'll have to cut a team. We'll be fine with 10 if having 12 means only 11 are really into it so make sure the last person joining will be engaged.
IR spots have been voted out and we will have 8 bench players
The more I look at the flex spot, any reason we don't want to make it all around and include RB's to the mix? As I see it no way am I going to add a TE to replace a WR every team isn't built like the Patriots with 2 great TE's

The flex spot should include RBs.

I vote B, with IDP you need more bench spots...
Also the flex should include a RB as well, based on your point setup WRs can actually get more points than a RB anywho so this wouldnt impact anything so much
As for IR it HAS to be included since we are using keepers, if someone uses their first pick to get Megatron and he goes down week 1 that player should still have the option of keeping megatron till next year without him taking up a bench spot or having to drop him.
Keeper leagues are simple to understand in terms of whatever round you draft someone in you keep him in that round next year...the only thing you need to specify is what round next year Free Agent pickups will count toward (ie someone grabs danny woodhead mid season and he becomes the next wes welker, what round will that count as a keeper next year)

What the hay?
Who were the two people missing in action from last year? Do they not come here anymore?
As far as a filler, I'm sure one of ya'll has a buddy who is interested in filling that slot.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 1 spot left to be filled by midn
Guys if you cant fill the spot you can drop me since im the new guy to the league I dont want anyone else to have to leave who has been around
However if no one else can join I say just make a ghost team, let it auto pick draft and simply change the lineup each week but dont replace or trade any of the players from that team...kinda like someone quit playing but at least the lineup is fresh each week
if someone wants to join a few weeks into the season you can give control of that team to the new person simpy by entering their email into the invite section for that team (commish tool)

Just signed up, sorry for the delay. Been working long hours ahead of vacation...where I now am without a real good Internet connection. I won't be able to make the draft so I guess I'm going auto! And, yeah, don't worry. I'm not a deadbeat player
