Its probably looking grim for Boardwalk Empire at the Emmys.

Im surprised Maggie Smith isnt on the best supporting actress list and Elisabeth Mcgovern isnt up for Downtown Abbey lead but instead Michelle Dockery.

McCoy and Hatfields will probably lead the way during the Emmys

These are mostly awesome nominations. Especially love seeing a few "Happy Endings" nominations and Emmy Rossum, who is currently delivering my favorite dramatic performance on television right now that has thus far been completely overlooked.

Ah, I just noticed that Chloe Webb was nominated too for "Shameless." She was also INCREDIBLE this year. Her character was so heartbreaking and tragic on that show this season.

I'm really surprised by the nomination for Ashley Rickards. I love her on Awkward, just wouldn't expect to see it recognized.

Kudos to the two Happy Endings noms, though I do find it sad Eliza Coupe wasn't nominated. Oh well, at least it didn't get completely overlooked.

Eliza Coupe is the best one on the cast. Don't know why she wouldn't be nominated over Damon Wayans or Casey Wilson.

Wait, what's the difference between the Television Critics Awards and the Critics' Choice Awards?

Um I don't know what The Television Critics Awards are, but I assumed the Critics's Choice was affiliated with those BFCA dudes which means they are the worst of the worst.

"Community" winning over "Parks and Recreation" and even "New Girl" and "Girls" is fucking ridiculous.

Their acting wins are fairly solid. But it's all so unnecessary. Do we need a made-up awards ceremony to give Community the Best Comedy award it will never get (or be nominated for) at the Emmys?

I would have liked it if they gave that award to The Dink but then again they snubbed him out of the nominations last year so it doesnt come as a surprise
