 Re: Girls/Veep (HBO)
Julia Louis-Dreyfus wasn't the least funny major player in Seinfeld. Jerry was.
She has excellent comic timing in Veep...she's not getting the majority of funny lines. If I had a comedy to pitch calling for a 40-something upper-middle, attractive female, would I want her? Yeah. Would I take her over Amy Poehler? Probably not.

Me too. lol. Backlash be damned!
Adam is SO WEIRD, though. I actually found myself nodding along in agreement with Marnie and Jessa in the last episode.

yeah that awful business with chris o'dowd stopped an otherwise good episode cold, and it felt like it went on for an hour

 Re: Girls/Veep (HBO)
Veep capped off quite the stellar first season there. Maybe the best episode so far.
Hannah and Marnie's fight on Girls was bizarrely realistic and believable. I dunno how Lena Dunham keeps portraying how people in this age group actually act sometimes but she's doing it!

 Re: Girls/Veep (HBO)
The season finale of Girls was brilliant. Probably topped every other episode this season.
