You can't just ignore the midnight number and say that 75/70 is an increase. 75M would be a 37.5% drop on a Saturday, which seems pretty realistic (but that $120M OD doesn't).

The final fight with Joker was underwhelming.
If this was a normal film it would been a crappy ending.
However of course you then had the real ending with Harvey Dent and the Cop and Batman and no doubt one of the best endings ever.

There would be no point in it, because Batman is a much superior fighter to the Joker. Instead, the whole movie was a Batman-Joker fight, a moral fight. Which is also a much more interesting type of fight than your typical CGI-filled Marvel trash.

Ironically, the 'Big Fight' in the Avengers reminds me of the fight from the Justice League: Unlimited finale, "Destroyer". Both were equally disappointing, with both featuring a being with a large army that are so ineffectual that they come off as bowling pins rather than legit threats.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises OW Record Club of FUCK 3D lol TA and TDK are different films. TA could have only ended with a big epic fun fight. It provided audiences with one of the most enjoyable fight scenes in a long time, and likley is the main reason people liked the film so much. TDK had some great action scenes but none in the the end. Based on the trailers it appears we will get even better action this time. Imo it is somewhat of a weak point. Remember in Inception? A lot of the action was just a filler really between pivotal scenes. Anyways I know Nolan puts in action but in really epic ways. Remember the big truck flip in TDK... I would like to see more of that  Lol imo it appears to fix the problems with Banes Voice he now sounds like a crazy over excited person. "let the games begin!"  _________________The Dark Prince
