 Re: PGA Tour 2012 Season
Besides that bastard Cheetah, the only other golfers I actively cheer for losing are those proselytizing morons like yesterday's winner Suck Johnson, or Ebb Simpson. Bubba's a religious guy too, but thankfully mostly keeps it to himself.
Personal faith is one thing, but using TV interviews to hawk their god is evil.
Interestingly, they only claim divine intervention when they win - - you never hear them saying, "Damn that Jesus really screwed me over on the back 9 today!"
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to another big Cheetah collapse next week!

 Re: PGA Tour 2012 Season
Luckily, the whole religion shilling problem will disappear soon - - the day one of the rising new crop of world golfers starts promoting his own non-christian god on US network television.

That 16th hole hole-out is going to go down as one of Tiger's biggest shots ever.
Congrats Tiger!

Tiger is going to win this but one thing I like about the US Open is you can end the tourney with E and still win!

 Re: PGA Tour 2012 Season
Webb Simpleton has a lot of strikes against him - - he's one of those jerks who abuses TV to sell his religion, he's dumb as a bag of hammers. he's American - - but I suppose we had better rejoice in the one key positive out of his win - - he's not a Cheetah!

It marked an incredible tumble for Woods, considering he was tied for the U.S. Open lead Saturday morning. His 75-73 finish extended his majors drought to four years.
Woods attributed his poor play Saturday mostly to bad luck.

 Re: PGA Tour 2012 Season
Tiger wins again. It's his #3 this year. Maybe he will catch Jack in the end. He appears to be playing well just not so well in Majors unlike last year when he was in the top 5 a couple times.

I'm wondering when Woods will pass Sneed's record of 82 PGA wins. I'll say before US Open 2014.

I remember seeing a list of the PGA winners and that record is something no one currently playing is anywhere near. Michelson was closest with 30 something so other than that it's gonna be a long time before another player of Woods caliber appears to even get a chance to sniff his record.

 Re: PGA Tour 2012 Season
Woods will win at least twice more this year. Which puts him at 76. Which means he will be VERY close by the end of 2013.
The defining moment of the weekend though? Tiger pulling out DRIVER on the 72nd hole and hitting it perfectly. That took balls.
