Well... DH's replacement is here... did anyone watch it?

Saw the pilot a few months ago and it was enjoyable. Heard they reshot portions of it though and haven't watched the new edit yet.

I didn't watch. I'm interested but with a stupid title like GCB (I get that they couldn't call it Good Christian Bitches and knew that wouldn't stick, but even Good Christian Belles was better than GCB) it's probably not going to last so I may as well not get invested.

Didn't see it yet, but GCB? Good Cock Block of a title. I don't see people tuning in for a show named that way.

Watched the pilot. It was OK, though it didn't offer anything compelling as a reason to watch.

Everyone involved with naming it GCB should be fired instantly. What a terrible decision.

The second episode was better. It's a cutesy show. Not something you would die to watch. But it's fine while I have time for it. Not sure I'll continue watching once other shows stop airing reruns and come with fresh episodes and once the exam time starts.

Is the name GCB ever referred to or even explained on the show? Like do they actually say the words "Good Christian bitches"?

Watched the pilot. Reminded me of a television adaptation of a breezy Reese Witherspoon romcom or something. Nothing offensively bad, just a fun hour, no more and no less.

Might catch up if it gets renewed, which is a toss-up.

I've seen every episode now; I think it's terrific but way too campy to have mass appeal. I don't think it'll be renewed, which is a shame.

What? they're airing it after DH... there's no better show to pair it with, the tones of the shows are both soap opera-ish and they kinda fit.

well yeah, Good Christian Belles was way better. But don't blame it on the title, Bitch in Apartment 23, despite de awful title, is doing ok even it doesnt fit MF at all.

Yeah but "Don't Trust the B..." is still descriptive. GCB literally means nothing unless you go online and look up the development history. They would have been better off calling it "Campy Desperate Housewives Replacement Sundays at 10"

Yeah, this has to go down as one of the worst decisions in history to rename a show something so obscure to the TV-uneducated. I mean, we get it. We can't have the word bitch in a title. But good lord, put some thought into a proper name.

The DH lead-in argument doesn't fly with me. Take a look at the five weeks they aired with Housewives as the lead in. Estimated 75% retention in viewership, over 80% in the 18-49 demo. And on the fifth week, when it dipped below 6 million (out of DH's less than 8.5ish million), it aired opposite the Country Music Awards, which I guess would directly conflict with viewership for some people. I wouldn't say ratings were that bad.

Glad to hear someone praising the show. I mean I did enjoy the pilot more than I expected, so.

Edit: Actually, look at the two weeks it aired on its own. Those ratings aren't that bad, considering OUAT was in repeats both times, and some Titanic special aired as its lead-in the second week. Talk about a boring lead-in!

Is it so far fetched for them to change the title to Good Christian Belles right now? If it changes before the 1st season DVD, couldn't its "GCB" past be fairly cleanly wiped away?

The "This Little Light of Mine" audition a few weeks ago had me in tears.
