After rewatching the episode, I'd say it's the best death they've done on the show, I do not buy Edie's horrible death and Rex's was offscreen so he does not count.

Mike has been a waste of space (and James Denton a consistently poor actor) for pretty much the entirety of Desperate Housewives. However, he has been on the show from the very beginning and I feel like him getting gunned down is not only fairly ballsy but will open up some interesting storyline possibilities for the last stretch of this show.

YEah, I can see Lynette and Tom getting closer because of this and Susan will most likely seek revenge. And hopefully (please god!) the return of Katherine!!!

Last night was really sad, I teared up a bit while they were at Bree's.


But I think this is the first "tribute" episode that actually moves the plot forward instead of just being a "tribute" episode.

I knew it would be Mike. Good i didnt read spoilers though. This sets up the end of series to be a cracker.

Teri Hatcher handled her dramatic scenes well. I might like this subdued, depressed Susan better than the wacky, annoying Susan who has driven me up a wall for 8 years.

Enjoyed last night's episode. It was a nice sendoff for the character.

DH is having a great last season, I have no idea how this is ending (other than Lynette and Tom are getting back together, lol).

Yeah they'll be back together for sure.

What a season - so it started off with the body - the building site and the mysterious aussie - the marital break-up - the paintings - the revelation - the scorned boyfriend cop - the dead boyfriend cop - the attempted suicide - the goody goody turned alcoholic turned slut - the returned ex husband - the returned ex scorned - the loan shark - the sick old lady - the drive-by - the dead husband - the house wife arrested?

So that leaves us with 5 episodes and a birth, reconciliation, revenge?? The demise of Orson and Bree's freedom?? I dont think there is any real mystery left is there?

Great last season though, so much has happened. Season 7 is abysmal by Season 8 standards.

If they don't screw up the final episodes (cmon, we know the finale will be batshit insane ala V), this can easily become the best season since the first.

This episode felt like filler all the way to the last scenes of each housewive.

I know this was filler but this was needed and yay! Andrew's back and hopefully till the finale.

Yeah I kind of figured that she'd go. Kind of not necessary. Perhaps she goes and takes a long held secret with her.

Only 3 episodes left. I guess not much else other than Bree's imprisonment to deal with.

The show is just going through the motions right now, I feel next episode will be filler to and things will kick into high gear the episode before the finale.
