Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
So great to have this show back, great premiere!
It'll be interesting to see if they continue the adventures of Kalinda and Sophia. It was kind of fun seeing the two of them work together.

The premiere was absolutely worth the wait. Alicia and Will's hot and heavy scene? Yowza.

Another great episode tonight. The buildup to the bathroom makeout that fell through for Will & Alicia was hot.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
Another fantastic episode! Alan Cumming needs to consider submitting this episode come Emmy time next year. His first scene getting his team together so quickly was gold.
I do wish though they drop Grace's tutor storyline. It just seems kind of dumb for the show.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
Finally caught up with this season. And it has been on fire. It still amazes me how much progress they manage to pack to every storyline each episode. Unlike other shows that make big religion episodes, big political episodes, big family episodes, TGG every episode is a big one in all aspects. Wonderful.
Marthas and Caitilins might've been the best episode this season and one of the better ones overall. I loved the final scene.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
? The last episode was probably the weakest one ever. Not that it was bad but I think the new characters (Vanessa and Caitlin) sucked up a lot of space and they're just not ripe or interesting enough yet to get this much exposure. Caitlin especially.

Jackie snooping through Alicia's things but then not knowing how to turn on her laptop was maybe the funniest moment this show has ever had.

I love that Carrie Preston will be on a couple of episodes it seems. Her character is really creative with the way she solves things. I love her as Arlene and I love her as Elsbeth.

Last night's episode was stellar. And I love that every actor really gets a chance to shine on this show: this has been a standout season for Christine Baranski, in particular.

I've only seen most of Season 3 so far and I love this show. You know it's a good show when you can jump in and immediately get sucked into the storylines three seasons in. I'll watch to watch from the beginning when I have more time. But ya, Carrie Preston is great.

Another Ham Sandwich was a fantastic episode. Whew. Alicia just getting up and walking out during her questioning was awesome. And man, Anika Noni Rose is wonderful as Wendy Scott-Caar; she weirdly reminds me of Umbridge from the Harry Potter movies.

The Good Wife, season 3: the year of Diane Lockhart.
I want Christine Baranski to win the Emmy this year.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
I want this show to win every Emmy. Too bad it doesn't get much buzz. It's way too strong not to be nominated for Best Drama again, but I feel like every other show that gets nominated with it has more chance of winning.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
It's kind of amazing how easily Matthew Perry has shedded the Chandler persona to play the complete and utter slimeball his character on The Good Wife is. He must be having so much fun.
In other news, this episode was wonderful. I am so, so thankful it was renewed again.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
If you manage to turn Perry into such a great villain then you have to be an amazing show! I'm actually thinking this is the best show on air currently! It just can't do no wrong. Everything is so tight and perfectly fitted.

And The Good Wife caps off yet another stellar season. Excellent finale. And I'm glad we don't have to wait until upfronts to know about renewal.

Re: The Good Wife: Season 3
Literally the best acted show in probably a decade or so. Great finale. Hopefully the new promo strategy for Emmy's pays off and gives the show a couple of wins. I mean there are like 10 actors (both regulars and guest stars) that deserve a nod.

Now Amanda Peet is also joining the show next season in a recurring role.
This show has the best roster of guest actors I can ever remember.
