 GRIMM Season 1
The show got 6.5 million viewers. Pretty impressive considering it debuted on Friday nights, always a tough night for TV these days and against World Series Game.
I liked the concept and ideas, but the acting was pretty bad. Here is hoping the later episodes will get better.

 Re: GRIMM Season 1
This was easily my least favorite of all the pilots I saw a few months ago, and even though the version I saw was a rough cut I doubt it improved. There are too many problems with the overall concept and acting to count. I won't be watching.

 Re: GRIMM Season 1
I thought it was surprisingly decent. There were at least a couple of worse pilots this year.

Wait, I forgot about "Charlie's Angels." So this would be second-worst

 Re: GRIMM Season 1
Just finished the tenth episode. It's funny because just when I'm about to give up on the show there will be an episode that is pretty good and makes me keep watching. Overall I find it fairly mediocre though. The premise is cool but it can be kind of boring. It reminds me of Supernatural. That was another show I watched a few episodes of and didn't really get into so I stopped watching. That also kind of followed the stand-alone episode formula. Sure each show has a plot connecting the episodes, but they both dealt with different investigations in each episode. I'm pretty sure Supernatural eventually grew out of that but I didn't watch it long enough to find out. Hopefully Grimm will start to. I've kept watching it because I keep hoping it will improve. I watched the ninth episode and planned on quitting after watching the tenth, since I thought I'd at least watch the last episode on the second disc. But then the tenth was good, so I might watch more. I really like the main guy and his girlfriend.
Does this show get any better? Sometimes it just takes time for a show to find its groove, but I usually won't stick with a show that I find this mediocre.

I watch it on my DVR on Friday nights after Enlisted live. Grimm is my guilty pleasure. While scary, it tends to be funny at times especially with Monroe's quirky personality.
