Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #7 Rev winless?
I can't believe I'm gonna have the third highest score and still probably lose, and someone who didn't set their lineup (either Magnus or Jedi Master Carr) is gonna get a win. Sometimes I hate fantasy football.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #7 Rev winless?
Well shadows couldn't do anything about it. His bench is full of bye week players he likes apparently.
Cat otoh should have put players in since his bench was full of available players. I had this issue in my league, I had to move a owners qb off the bench to fill in his bye qb. I couldn't change the other slots since they had already started playing. I think it's part of the commissioners job to make sure lineups are set during the bye weeks. I really don't want to see it become like last year again when some folks just stopped setting lineups altogether. It isn't much fun nor fair to the rest of the league when others get potential walkover wins IMO.

Magnus just did what he always does: lost interest and gave up.

Back on top where I belong. If current scores hold then Magnus is actually gonna move up to #4. Set your line ups man! You have a good chance at the playoffs.

He may be ahead of me in W-L, but I'll have roughly 300 points more than him.

Although I'm gonna lose next week too, going against Chip on the Packers bye week.

Rev's not gonna win if Flacco keeps shitting the bed.

I can't ever count on Flacco. FUCK! My only chance for a win goes down the drain. HE'S THE WORST QB on a good team.

I see your point, however we have never adjusted rosters in the past, but if everyone is ok with it I will start adjusting rosters that don't have roster set at 1130am CST. I also see I have the power to go back and adjust rosters from previous weeks as well which will probably change the outcome of a few games.

That's part of FF though. People forgetting to update their roster.
It happens.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #8 Commissioner RQ?
I admit I lost some interest the last few weeks, although one of those weeks I was in New Orleans with sporadic internet access. I am in two leagues and the funny thing is I am doing much better in the other. Time is an issue I will admit, but also hate having to worry defensive players. It gets time consuming and I have little free time as it is.

Is it really that hard to simply set your lineup each week? It probably takes 15 minutes, max.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #8 Commissioner RQ?
If you start adjusting rosters now, the teams that played teams with unadjusted rosters have an even bigger advantage. Quote: I also see I have the power to go back and adjust rosters from previous weeks as well which will probably change the outcome of a few games. And what do you do if there have been two options for the player to substitute. One made 40 points the week, the other one made 4?

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #8 Commissioner RQ?
Hold up people.
Some are making this too complicated. The adjusting rosters issue only presented itself because SC Cats didn't produce a full roster against League of Shadows. I heard no fuss about roster setting previously. I only brought this up because Cat had people on the bench who could have filled in those slots whereas most of Shadows bench was full of more people on bye.
I'm not in favor of a commissioner changing rosters by adding and dropping people Unless:
The owner quit or the owner doesn't set lineups at all anymore
I'm also not suggesting any retroactive roster setting take place. Just going forward to be watchful of that so everyone faces as competitive a lineup as possible as long as that owner has people on their bench who are able to compete.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #8 Commissioner RQ?
I think this is the first week we've had unadjusted rosters, at least with bye week players not being substituted. So it shouldn't affect previous weeks.
Of course, I'm just bitter that Magnus is ahead of me in the standings, despite not setting his lineup. So ignore me as you will.

Well son of a bitch. Either that one BYE D player killed me, or playing the WRONG DEFENSE.
