 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
Oh. I didn't even know ESPN came up with their own QB rating.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
They don't even use it on the air! They had like a 2 hour special for it!
Both the QBR and the originaly QB Rating sucks. I've started using Pro Football Focus and Football Outsiders. Both tremendous sites.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
Bengals COULD be legit. Really good D. And their young QB and WR are playing VERY well together. They could sneak into a wild card spot.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
It looks like Denver is going with Tebow. All I can say is good luck with that, Tebow will never be an accurate QB. Well maybe Denver will tank and try to draft Luck in the draft.

Yeah if Moss couldn't win with Brady then neither will Welker

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
If Welker breaks the record for receptions AND yards... He can win it. Because a TON of his yards are YAC.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
They could still lose. Denver's defense is awful. They might have the worst defense in the NFL. It will probably come down to that game though.

Rodgers wasn't a #1 pick.

Or... You could draft Luck. Because only an idiot, who will need a QB in less than 5 years, would TRADE the Luck pick.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
I'm not saying he's not going to be a bust. But he's going to be the #1 pick, and unless a team JUST drafted a QB last year, it would be stupid not to pick him.
He essentially runs his own offense, makes his own reads. Doesn't have a ton of talent around him. Has a slower delivery, but he doesn't drop the ball down low, just cocks his arm back longer than some. He's essentially Tim Tebow... but the QB version.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
Magnus... The Colts will have about FIVE years to stock the roster for Luck. When the Packers drafted Rodgers, their roster was certainly NOT stocked.

It's early, but Romo might make the Pats secondary seem like an All-Pro team by the end of the day.

Both teams are doing a wonderful job of hanging on to the football.

Yeah the Colts don't look near the worst team in the league to me.
