1st episode = stupidity

2nd episode = idiocy

This cut-rate soap reminds me why I don't watch TV.

Ratings fell a slim 3% in adults 18-49 last night.

Good news: it held strong.

Bad news: it's only week 2.

Episode 2 was awful. We'll see if the taste washes out of my mouth by next week, otherwise I may be done with this show already.

Eek. And you're the reason I posted the good news in this thread, Karl. Too bad.

Ha, I didn't think it was as boring as the pilot, but that's probably because it wasn't stretched over 2 hours. I was surprised they made no attempt at building any mysteries that they had set up in the pilot. It was fully a self-contained episode. Felt like an episode of Stargate with far more boring characters.

I enjoy this series. :P It's nothing revelatory, but it's very watchable and goofy-charming. I'm sure anyone expecting it to be epic and meaningful and a leap forward in TV or w/e is highly disappointed, but my inner 12-year-old has no problem giving this an hour every week.

Just watched the second episode. It's definitely much more self-contained than I was expecting - I was hoping for a "Lost"-like continuing plotline. The special effects are also still awful.

That being said, I did enjoy it more than the boring premiere.
