Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
Scoring on Yahoo is incorrect the whole system has been unreliable today probably due to how many people have the apps open. The only thing I can think of is that it is calculating the number of yards lost when it tallies up the total, which is incorrect and will be adjusted. Heck I'd love for Ed Reed to keep his 37 but I know by my calculations he has 13 which is what I expect it will be adjusted to once Yahoo gets it's scoring system correct from the crush of the first weekend.
As for Def players being too powerful not really as you look at most of the projected points they are reasonable. If scoring 30+ was remote possibility due to having a career day so be it.
On a side note... Holy Shit! at Cam Newton's First Start! 37 points and counting

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
Damn yahoo inaccuracy...I rushed to add 2 DE who each supposedly had 60+ points this week, but now yahoo corrected the massive error I'm not sure they're even worthy of roster spot since their points came off TD.

Did you REALLY think a defensive player got SIXTY points?
My goodness.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
Never played in a defensive player league plus the scoring settings in this league is very uniquely custom to say the least, I found the offensive players' points to be vastly different from basic league so didn't realize Yahoo made error.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
31 from Tolbert on the bench. Why didn't any of the so called fantasy experts tell me to start him in Week 1? Huh?!?! Looks like I'll be losing this one unless Ocho and Marshall stink it up. And there are too many defensive players by atleast 2. There just aren't enough defensive players putting up consistent fantasy numbers to fill the slots. Next year I'd vote for 8-10 D guys.

Didn't we have 5 defensive players last season?

The defensive players are fine. If you know how to actually USE them.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
I think managing a whole team is great and allows for better competition. But I hear your concerns. Let's play this season out and see how it goes. After the superbowl we'll vote on how to best procede for next year on roster size and scoring. I guess I got a little to agressive as commissoner and changed things up too much without addressing potential fall out. This is the only "High level" league I participate in, but it is also the one I like the most and covet winning more than any other. My other 3 leagues are standard public leagues in which I adjust the roster at the beginning of the week and forget about them.

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of defensive players. Makes it more challenging.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
First, what caca. I'm getting robbed here. I was a good 5 points up on Cat and now we are tied.
Second, I have problem with the amount of D players. I would like to see a flex position added however.
Finally, I would like players to be put on waivers sun-tues like yahoo has it. I'd like the waivers to have some meaning.

Re: WOKJ NFL Fantasy League 2011 Week #1
Well that's fucking it.
I'm watching this freaking Miami game and CAt's D player Cameron Wake who seems like he's on the field all the damn time. As I'm watching Brady goes and gives up a f'ing sack. He and the offensive guard Soldier who can't block shit.
Bull f'ing shit.
It's over now. My defensive guy ain't getting any f'ing sacks!!

I just need Janikowski to hit four 50 yard FGs or so.

Man wish I saw this, would have loved to join.
This last week was a killer for me, Steelers D and D Williams doing nothing killed me this past week.

Did you guys pay to get in, or was it a free league, and how did the draft go? Completely online?
