 Big Brother 13 Everyone's favorite sleazefest that you just can't seem to stop watching no matter how hard you try (this is older than Jersey Shore/Real Housewives/etc. so it has them beat), Big Brother, returns for a 13th (!) season next week. It will air on CBS, as usual, three times per week: Sunday 8 PM ET (nominations), Wednesday 8 PM ET (POV), Thursday 9 PM ET (live eviction/HOH). This season's "twist" is that only 8 houseguests have been revealed so far, and the rest of them (not specified, I'm guessing 4 others) will be composed of sets of "dynamic duos" from previous BB history. Anyway, the cast is more diverse than usual and let's hope it's a better season than BB12, which was incredibly dull other than the snarky Britney. Also... please don't let Jessie/Natalie come back. But Alison Grodner has such a hard-on for Jessie, argh. I'm okay with Dick/Danielle (I'm pretty sure the houseguests should know by now how to deal with them) and Brendon/Rachel.

Re: Big Brother 13 Alison Grodner's perpetual hard-on for strong males is sort of sad. Why else are Jessie, Brendon or even Hayden under consideration? Hard to believe this will be the fourth straight year to feature Jessie in some role, even if it's (pray!) only on the premiere.
I kind of want to see Dick and Daniele again. They're probably not even talking anymore, which would be fun all over again. Moreso than Will, Evel Dick might last a while just because people will know he'll be a big target and take heat off them.
Jeff and Jordan would be sort of fun.
Is Will really going to do this again? Really? Again? Great for us, but why would he do it?

Re: Big Brother 13 Oh god. I just voted on CBS.com (Dick and Dani!... sorry Libs). But there's no way in hell that we have any say at all in who returns, you know. First, the wording: "who do you think will return?" not "should return". Meaning that the 1% Jessie and Natalie has is irrelevant if Alison Grodner has her final say. Plus, they show percentages. No way they would risk spoiling it.

I will excuse the horror show of Dick/Dani (why does she look like someone is holding her at gunpoint to be there????) by the fact that Jeff/Jordan are still adorable and Brendon/Rachel will bring more of her ridiculous drama to the fold. A part of me actually hopes Dick gives Rachel the Jen treatment because it'll just make both of them look even more like fools.
Also, thank god in heaven that Jessie/Natalie didn't come back, but teasing me with the prospect of Dan/Memphis was unfair! Dan is still my favorite winner of this show, right above Evil Dr. Will and Jordan.
Oh, Big Brother. You and your sleaze. I have missed you.
Cassi (and her freakish resemblance to Olivia Wilde), Shelly and Dominic all seem really cool. Keith seems like a douche.

I think she could be more tolerable without him, especially if she cuts down on the whiny "woe is me" stuff she never shut up about 4 years ago. Hopefully she's matured a little bit since then. Although she looks vaguely like a corpse now, that hair color does her no favors.

Re: Big Brother 13 Speculative talk in spoilers... no real spoilers, but in case someone is completely avoiding spoilers, I'll tag it. You know, Daniele has a great shot right now if she lays low. She's safe until week 4 (with the golden key), she's not tied down by a partner (least of all Dick), and she's most likely to be able to mingle with the newbies if they decide to get rid of Jorff and Brenchel, as well as being most likely to mingle with the oldies if they get an upper hand over the newbies. If she doesn't piss anyone off, it's her game to lose... provided she can pull off some of her BB8-style wins towards the end.

But she would be smart to lay low on challenges for now. If she was to win HOH soon, she would seriously jeopardize her place in the house by picking sides.
Also, the Evel Dick thing won't be mentioned until Wednesday. It all happened after nominations, which is what tonight's show is. So... that kind of sucks. That's what I hate about BB: the spoilers. They're unavoidable and it takes forever to catch up to them on the episodes.
