I think Transformers 3 has a shot at $100+ million.

BoM reported 53 mln total for Pirates and 48 mln for Panda.

If that number is true for Pirates that means it would have made around 8m for the week from last week's 22.48m that would mean about 65% drop which would be awful

That's indeed a pretty good opening for Skyline, although the legs will be short.

It's already the film's fifth biggest foreign market, so there's that regardless of its legs.

Is there any release schedule available for China? It's making a bigger and bigger impact on foreign grosses, knowing when what will come out would be sweet.

Look like another 140m+ yuan for Panda 2 last week, for a 480m yuan total ($74m). 55m yuan for Pirates 4 for a 430m yuan total ($66m). All the films were helped by last Monday being a holiday and no new openers for the week.

With 140m yuan it would mean 40% drop for Panda. Xia is that good for its legs considering there was a holiday? Also that Pirates held better this weekend with that number.

Yeah, that's a good hold. Panda benefited more the previous week from International Children's Day and thus had a bigger drop comparing to Pirates this time.

Still possible, but more likely fall a little short.
