 COUGAR TOWN - Season 2
I refuse to bump up the old thread because it's meshed in with MODERN FAMILY. Joking aside, has anyone watched the premiere? I haven't watched it yet (literally just finished season one) but I'm going to watch it online tonight. I really enjoyed the first season, so I'm looking forward to this.

It was OK. Aniston was cool as a new shrink and I'd actually like to see her again. The scenes with Courteney and her were great.

Aniston was awesome, I want her to win ANOTHER emmy for that.

I haven't seen Season 2 yet, but I finished Season 1 last night. Highly enjoyed it. Will check out Season 2 when it's on DVD.

I might have watched this show sometime had it been given a less appalling title.

Various subtitles added onto the title cards in episodes throughout season 2: "Badly Titled" "Not What The Show Is" "100% Cougar Free" "Titles Are Hard" "It's Okay To Watch A Show Called..." "Regretfully, We Give You..." "All I Want For Christmas Is A New Title" "New Year's Resolutions: Embrace Our Stupid Title & Lose Six Pounds" "Starting To Own It" "Welcome To Cul-De-Sac Crew [crossed out], Cougar City [crossed out], Cougar Town (sticking with it)" "Sorry, We Still Cringe At the Title" "We Pretend To Be Called Wine Time" "We Should Have Live Cougars On" "We Will Never Stop Mocking the Title"

The second season of this show was amazing. I looked forward to it more than "Modern Family."

Re: COUGAR TOWN - Season 2
After finishing season 1 I'm kind of sad it isn't doing a little better in the ratings. Hopefully they'll improve in Season 3 so it will stick around a while. If it stays above 5 Million it probably will anyway. I'd be worried if it drops below that. Really curious where ABC will stick this on the schedule next season.

It has a time slot: Tuesdays at 9, between cycles of DWTS. I guess that's subject to change, but...

Re: COUGAR TOWN - Season 2
The creator is SET on changing the title of the show. Has not decided on a name yet, but says it WILL be changing.

Re: COUGAR TOWN - Season 2
Changing a name in the show's third season is dumb. Even if the come up with some Freudian title that compels people to watch the show, the ratings would drop again. ABC gives the show the best slot a comedy-show-not-named-Modern-Family can have on its schedule, it had a one off post-DWTS exposure round (I thought that was by far the best episode in the second half of the season BTW). People are not biting. That's the fact. Keep the title, if you have keep the (now very much irritating as they try too much) mock sentences around it, and just do what you do - chitty chatty banter from a pretty good group of characters.

Re: COUGAR TOWN - Season 2
I have watched Disc 1 of Season 2 and really enjoyed it. I actually think it's better than Season 1. Apparently it will indeed be changing its name at some point ( http://www.tv.com/news/i-cougar-town-i- ... ag=hotspot ), which I still think is stupid this late in the game.

That's great. I hope people aren't too busy with Valentine's Day to watch it . Really want this show to do solid numbers.
