Most shocking result of upcoming upfronts in May?
So we're only a few weeks from the networks making their fall TV decisions, presenting a fresh batch of terrible pilots and inexplicably renewing this and god-knows-why cancelling that. So I'm wondering, which forthcoming renewal or cancellation not yet announced do you see happening that will be deemed shocking.
I'm thinking ABC will renew two of its bubble comedies. Cougar Town is one. Maybe Happy Endings will come back? I think everyone has forgotten Mr. Sunshine.

I think Chuck could live to see another day considering the wreck that's NBC.

I think ABC will end up renewing "Happy Endings," at least I hope they do, because it's absolutely hysterical.
I also sadly think they will renew "Brothers & Sisters" for a final season order. Ugh.
I also have a weird feeling that "V" will come back.

I don't think B&S is happening. The cast doesn't want it, the writing is awful, its last few ratings have been very bad... Housewives will be back and that show is turning into a wreck too. ABC will have better luck trying a new show than bringing back B&S. And even if its at B&S level it will probably be cheaper thus a slightly less of a flop.
V I could see coming back. It good reasonable numbers considering its spot.

B&S won't be back.
I hope they stick with Happy Endings.

I think V will be back and I kinda want then to anounce that the next season is the final for DH.

Did V end its 2nd season already? I don't remember seeing its ratings lately.
I stopped watching after those first 4 episodes last year. Is it still good? It kept my attention, but the break killed it for me.

There have apparently been talks of Human Target being paired with Fringe next season. Hmmm...
If anything I think Lie to Me would be more successful on Friday night.

It sucked for a while but then the second season had the most batshit crazy finale I've seen in quite some time that gave the show an exciting turn.

Wasn't Fringe paired with Human Target already, albeit briefly? It's like they want desperately for an audience to find these two shows out of some miraculous scenario. I love me some Fringe (although I haven't kept up with it... I hear it's been awesome), but FOX is strange that way.

Ever since the uproar over "Firefly" I feel like FOX has been a bit more lenient with shows of that type. Almost all of them at least get season 2 renewals despite middling ratings ("Dollhouse," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" "Tru Calling"). Hell, "Dollhouse" even got a chance to have the final 4-6 episodes written as series-ending, something several shows that have aired well over 100 episodes don't even get the dignity of doing.

I wish they had kept Tru Calling. Season 2 had improved in the ratings as well. Would have been better off not being a Friday show in Season 1 and it should have been paired with The OC. Was sad when it didn't make it. WB should have picked it up. Would have been right at home there.

I loved when Tru Calling got better ratings for its second season when it replaced Point Pleasant, a show which bombed and which was partly a reason why FOX canceled filming TC's second season which was halfway done already. But unfortunately at that point it was to late to go back..
