Seriously Chip, if you keep posting negativity on how much you find baseball boring, then don't post here at all.
@ Grill, I agree about the Red Sox becoming an Evil Empire themselves. I think this could heighten the historic rivalry for the year.

2011 Champions - New York Yankees
Every year I just feel bad for the other teams in the AL East. Tampa has proven that it's possible to to break through, but you still face the toughest schedule in baseball no matter what. Baltimore and Toronto could win 90 games in any other division this year, yet will have to settle for 75-85.
AL Division winners - Boston, Detroit, and Texas. WC - Yankees NL - Philly, Milwaukee, and Colorado. WC - Atlanta

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
Wild Starts so far. The Brewers blew a 3-run lead in the 9th, and the Cardinals couldn't finish off their game either.
As for my Angel game, I am happy for the win, but this bullpen is beginning to piss me off. In fact, all three teams (Halos, Cards and Brewers) all had bullpens that couldn't hold on to leads last year. Based on the opening day performances, this could be deja vu all over again.

Yankees won't win a playoff series. Their back end of their lineup is so bad.

Yeah, it hasn't been a pretty 13 innings for the Red Sox pitching staff. Thankfully there are about 1,444 of them left in the year though.

PS. Also Wonder how Crawford will do off the turf and at Fenway. I said AG would be a great pickup but Crawford needs to hit, LOL! For like the next decade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS> Boy was Beckett worth that great big contract, as he hasn't even pitched yet...Did he make the rotation? and yes Yankees FINALLY LOST TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME....but I still think that the Yankees line-up can cover better than the Red Sox.
