So any Big Love fans on here. I didn't watch it religously but I'd catch up on each season eventually. Good last season, pretty dramatic end to the series. I must say it was one of the more underrated shows on HBO.

I was looking for a thread about this earlier.

I'm a huge fan and thought season 5 was one of the most intense, insane seasons of any show on the air at the moment. Pretty much every episode had me on the edge of my seat.

The finale wrapped up most loose ends and I was incredibly satisfied. The ending was very powerful and effective, and though Bill's death had been foreshadowed all season it was still well-handled and a real tearjerker. Also loved seeing Amanda Seyfried back.

I'll miss this show.

I also really loved that last moment when they hugged. For that shot alone I think it has a real shot at some Globes and Emmys this year.

I agree though, I felt all season long any time someone went on their own or were walking anywhere someone was going to get their head blown off.

Yeah, there's been such an emphasis on guns and violence this season I knew someone was going to bite the dust. I honestly thought Nicki was going to die after the episode where Alby took her hostage.

I haven't got to watch any of Season 5, but I've just caught up with the first four seasons. I think it's an incredibly underrated show. I'm shocked it never won any big awards. The cast is amazing and the story arcs for every season are perfectly constructed.

My favorite episode is that road trip one in Season 3, where SO many secrets are finally opened up to everyone.

I really can't believe how massive this cast has become though, lol.

The cast is scaled down a bit in season 5. Amanda Seyfried left the show to pursue her film career (she still appears in the finale though) and other characters are written out as well.

And Chloe Sevigny won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress a few years back. Season 3 was also nominated for Best Drama at the Emmys.

There was a huge backlash in Season 4 for some reason. I don't really understand why, I enjoyed that year.

Ha I noticed that too online, which baffled me. If anything, I thought each season topped the previous in quality. Season 4 was limited by having only 9 episodes, but my goodness, they were all huge. It's like a very well-written soap, with all the twists, affairs, (even twins!), and occasional deaths.

Margine, Wanda, and Adaleen are by far my favorites. Ben annoys the HECK out of me.

In my opinion the third season is one of the best seasons of any television show ever. I think it's because that season was so incredible that people were a bit let down by season 4. It's also easily the most melodramatic year of the show, but I still thought it was excellent.

The first season is actually probably my least favorite, to be honest. I only really started getting into it with Season 2.
