Its reruns are still beating Glee, ridiculous how long and well this show has done. It is pretty funny though. probably the last good version of the old sitcom.

???????

On the same network alone, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory beg to differ.

Also, Two and a Half Men hasn't been remotely funny since like 2006. And Charlie Sheen has obviously lost his mind. I just hope the show's crew, who are now out of a job because of his antics, will be compensated. It'd also be kinda nice if the show just ended and freed up Conchata Ferrell, Holland Taylor and even Jon Cryer to work on something else.

It'll be interesting to see what CBS does with this for the rest of the season. I think HIMYM moving to 9 is a possibility. Having reruns of Two and a Half Men in that crucial 9:00 spot the rest of the season might drag down the entire lineup (especially Mike & Molly/Hawaii Five-O), and DWTS is coming back soon.

Bring in a wacky uncle played by Emilio Estevez.

They should replace him with Michael J. Fox.

Wrong.. Two and a Half Men has consistently clobbered How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory and has done so to the point where they had to move Big Bang Theory to Thursday night because of it.. As for CBS cancelling the show?? There idiots for doing that and as a result, this is going to come back and bite them in the ass when FOX or another network picks the show up and they will to.. How could they not?? The show has the best ratings of any sitcom out there, even beating the sappy ass How I Met Your Mother which really is the one that should've been cancelled, not Sheen's show which garnered massive ratings and you can't deny that any of you, even if you don't like the show.. facts are the facts folks..

Then you fall into "That 70'S Show" catagory with them trying to replace Eric Forman with that other long hair goof and it TANKED.. Replacing Sheen with Fox goes all the way back to when Fox was replaced with Sheen on the shortlived show SPIN CITY..

This story dun got juicah.

Quote:
Sheen is not taking the news of Warner Bros. and CBS's decision to suspend production of 'Two and a Half Men' too well. In a message to RadarOnline.com, Sheen called the decision "crazy" and "sad" adding that he was moving to HBO to do his own half-hour show titled 'Sheen's Corner.' The deal would reportedly get him $5 million for an episode.

Sheen is already the highest paid actor on TV earning $2 million for each episode of 'Two and a Half Men.'

Sheen reportedly said, "I'm close to securing a deal with HBO for a 10 show guarantee. It will be epic, all types of guests, and we will focus on the truth and the absurd!" Radar notes that HBO could not be contacted for comment.

Quote:
Despite previous reports that Charlie Sheen inked a series deal with HBO, a rep for the company tells PopEater there is "no truth to this."

I guess this is one way to get rid of Two and a Half Men.

But your not going to get rid of the show because FOX will end up with it.. You don't get rid of shows with ratings as high as this one receives whether you like the show or not.. Alot of people DO like the show folks..

Big Bang Theory and HIMYM are not the traditional sitcom of the last 20 years, where a show revolves around a single big star, they are Friends hybrids, and they are fucking awful, I mean they aren't Every Body Loves Raymond or According to Jim bad, but they are not even remotely funny (And the most obnoxious laugh track ever, they give Saved by the Bell a run for its money, and I love saved by the bell) Two and a half Men is at least as funny as King of Queens.

Though I don't watch any of these shows except in reruns, so I don't know the current state of the shows.

You're kidding right? The Big Bang Theory moved to Thursday because it was a hit on Monday's, occasionally beating Two and a Half Men in viewers (even though they weren't competing because they were on the same network). CBS moved it because they wanted to gain a stronghold on Thursday nights and create their own version of "Must See TV".

Yes that's actually why BBT was moved to Thursdays, but not actually why in BKB's "head."

Also, Fox can't just pick up Two and a Half Men. That's not how it works. There's something called legality and contractual obligation.

Post Re: Two and a Half Men production halted for rest of season
One thing you apparently didn't notice while reading that. All of those shows (with the exception of My Three Sons) was picked up by another network ONLY because those shows were on the verge of being canceled by the networks that didn't want them anymore.

That's not the position CBS is in. CBS would prefer if Charlie Sheen would just shut his fucking mouth so they can finish out the last two seasons as a ratings winner. The problem though is that Sheen is calling out the producers.

In order for CBS to move the show they would have to get the producers consent. There would be no reason for them to move the show though because it's still doing well. That and in order for the show to move, Sheen and the producers would have to be on good terms, which isn't going to happen. And if they do get back on good terms, why would CBS then move the show? And say there was some oddball scenario where the producers let go of the show and allowed CBS to move it (again, they wouldn't because they like money) to a station like FOX. Do you really think the network that would pick up the show would be willing to deal with the insurance tag that'd be on Sheen? Why pick up a show where the star might die? Think anyone would still watch without Sheen? These are reasons why your scenario wouldn't work you dumb fuck. :bang: :funny:

Here's what's more likely to happen.

A. Sheen somehow manages to shut his mouth and the show goes for the rest of the contract.

B. Sheen continues to spiral, continues to bad mouth the producers, they can't work, and he gets fired. He then gets sued (at the minimum) for the rest of the money left on his contract. On top of that, CBS would have a great case to sue him for everybody's expenses; staff, cast, producers, etc. (Or some variation of this because I'm not a lawyer)

C. The above happens (minus suing Sheen for everyone's expenses), CBS tries to continue the show with another actor in Sheen's place, manages to last a handful of episodes but then gets canceled.

D. "B" happens, they film a wrapup show that will be an hour long saying how Uncle Charlie has died and has left all of his possessions to Jake and Alan, and the show ends on top.

http://www.tmz.com/2011/02/24/charlie-s ... s-octagon/

Charlie Sheen = WINNER Jmart = LOSER :bang: And CBS should've been ready to begin filming more episodes when Sheen showed ready to go after getting out of rehab and no one was there which was CBS Execs fault and they should've been ready to bow to Charlie knowing he was in perfect enough shape to honor his contract which he was.. One can't argue against Sheen not showing up to do his job when needed and that's all CBS should be concerned about his him honoring his contract which he was, but then the whole "sticks and stones will break my bones" bullshit reared it's ugly head with CBS Creator Lorre not having a thick enough skin to handle it when Sheen called him out over it.. Charlie = :1st:

You're assuming Sheen was in rehab. His rehab was at home and now apparently in the Bahamas. That's not rehab. Are you really going to take Sheen's word when he says he's fine? What addict has never said that they're fine and nothing is wrong?

Don't you think that if CBS thought Sheen was well enough they'd be filming right now? It's one of their most successful shows. Do they not like money?

Personally I couldn't give a fuck about Charlie Sheen. I think this is all comical at this point. If he wants to spend his time doing crack and blowing his money on "Porn Houses", all the more power to him. He's committing career suicide though.

On the bright side he's always got his film career. I'm sure the new Hillary Duff movie he's working on will be a real DTV winner.

I think he's also wanting to do Major League 4 and forget about the 3rd movie(or whatever number the last movie was)
