Great for The Pacifier and Be Cool. Bad for The Jacket, it will need a 3-multiplier for the weekend to hit $3m.

JB, I love your Indiana Jones avatar.
Churches are apparently organizing bus trips to see Diary (not too different than what happened with The Passion). It should increase nicely today and tomorrow.

$19 million
However, this movie was an acquisition for distributor Warner, so their financial exposure was limited.

NEW MOVIE PTA'S
BE COOL $2,363 (3,216 theaters)
THE PACIFIER $2,810 (3,131 theaters)
THE JACKET $751 (1,331 theaters)
I predict The Pacifier will have a lower total gross then Be Cool, especially since The Pacifer has direct competition next weekend (Robots) and Be Cool doesn't.

Pretty good for the two new releases. How The Pacifier grossed that much is beyond me. Has it really been two years since Bringing Down the House? Sheesh.

MDBs Oscar bounce appears to be about the same as A Beautiful Mind. Difference is ABM bounced while losing theaters, MDB gained 225 theaters.

Ellen DeGeneres BE COOL did huge! Who in the hell actually went to see that? Eeew.... It will drop HUGE next weekend though...
CURSED will probably make less than 4 Million this weekend . It would be damn lucky to get to 25 Million. It will have to settle for 20 Million.
Sorry Spiderman2005, I like your avatar, but BE COOL will definitely have a MUCH bigger drop next weekend than THE PACIFIER, which will likely drop under 40%, whereas BE COOL will drop over 50%.

MDB still might do 10 Million this weekend. It will do over 9 Million for sure.
I'm going to see it for the second time tonight \:D/. Can't wait!

 Re: Friday Estimates
My forcast.
PACIFIER, THE 8.8 (Way beyond my expectations, about 30 million is to be expected)
BE COOL 7.6 (Pretty much what I expected, I see a 22 million gross)
HITCH 3.7 (12 million is still possible)
DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN 3.2 (A big, but expected drop, about 10-11 million will do it)
MILLION DOLLAR BABY 2.3 (Nice, but expected, increase, projected gross around 9 million)
CONSTANTINE 1.8 (Another harsh drop, around 5.5-6 million for this)
CURSED 1.3 (Yes, a crumble as expected, about 4 million)
MAN OF THE HOUSE 1.2 (Harsher than expected downfall, lucky to even hit 4 million)
JACKET, THE 1.0 (Yikes, people are going to get 0's for this, at least I am not. 3 million)
BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE .9 (4 million is still reachable)

Pretty much what I projected. Only I think The Pacifier will be lower than $30m. Around $26m-$27m imo.
