Blaming a rookie. Even if you are correct that would jhave only tied the game. Anyway, that wasn't a mistake. The catcher made a great play. Most catchers won't even try to catch that ball. They would only try to block it. But I know you can't be objective. And blame Beckett for the loss. Gets smacked around for 10 hits and 4 runs when the Red Sox needed a great pitching performance. And LOL on Beckett messing up that bunt play. As no one covers the plate. Lastly, too bad Belte couldn't have manned up and smacked a game winning homer like Arod did the night before. Anyway, here is what I came here to do. Update my chart. Yanks 8 in front of Boston and 11 in front of Your CWS. LOL! Sorry that all your predictions are going in the garbage.

Rays 6-7
Yankees 4-9
White Sox 4-10
Spoke too soon Grill, but Pettitte,did throw good, good to see him healthy. Sucks for the Sox as they should have won last nights game too. Kalish made his first big mistake in the majors. But I'll forgive him since he's from my home town, and he never does it again.
Phillies have won 7 straight, them and Atlanta will certainly make the playoffs
Scottie, not sure about .500 now, Angels are playing good, but Texas won't help much I think.

Scottie, not sure about .500 now, Angels are playing good, but Texas won't help much I think. Fine with the game as Yanks rested Tex and Arod. Though a win would have been great. Now they get Tampa at home. And as I said for weeks, getting Petitte into game shape for the playoffs is the biggest thing.

God Gun, I already explained above that the catcher made an excellent play that most players wouldn't even try... So it wasn't the rookies fault. Anyway, saying that the rookie cost them the game is a joke. Smarten up. First, it the runner was still at 1st, who knows if the pitcher would have pitched differently. And most importantly, all it would have meant was the game was tied, and they were going to extra innings...far from a win. And as you don't evaluate the so many Boston players fairly. Beckett needed to man up and pitch much better, or basically pitch like Lester did today.

Well, the Angels have played very well at home against Texas this year, and Texas's road record has not been that hot this year. .500 is still a possibility, depending on what we do in this homestand with the Ranges, White Sox, and A's. I'm surprized that we won the series against the Rays, even more surprized that Kazmir beat his former team despite his struggles this year. The Sox would have easily won, as Beltre's out would have brought Martinez home if it wasn't a 2 out situation. But I agree that Kalish did nothing wrong, but still it cost the game. But oh well, it's a loss, no reason to keep going over it. I don't care enough.

Whose better? Texas or Minn? Well, Minn has the better winning streak. In fact, they have the best record since the All Star Break. The Twins has one of the best managers around right now, and their pitching is improved, but still can use a little work, but their bullpen is very strong. Overall, they are a dangerous club. Texas has a losing record on the road, but they do have a big 1-2 punch in the pitching derpartment (Lee and Wilson), and have alot of depth in their bullpen. Their offense can kill you too. Overall, in terms of who is better, I say they are pretty equal, but the Yankees would rather play Minn cause of their dominating record against them. Also he supposedly has been spending time with the hitting instructor this year. And they have shorten and tightened up his swing.
And you shouldn't have blasted Baltimore this week as they just beat the Red Sox at Fenway.

* The Red Sox are a top 5 team and will be #1 in 2011.
* Slightly the Yanks for beating Baltimore by only a run. Well now Baltimore just took 2 at Fenway.
