He's a shooter. Always will be. 8 three's? You mean in Game 2? What'd he do after that game in the series?

I'm happy for Phil Jackson & Ron Artest.
That is all...

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Lastly before I go to bed on this great Laker/NBA night.
Perkins injury killed the Celtics. They may not have won either 6/7 but the Celtics would have played better in both.
Especially since the Celtic bench were better as role players and playing with the lead than as starters and playing from behind.
Also on Rondo, the guy can't play the whole game as needed. Usually in the 3/4 he becomes a weakness till he gets rest. Celtics are lucky that Nate played great in 2 early Celtic wins but his magic wore off and he did nothing in 6/7.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
That was one of the worst NBA games I've seen in a while. Brick brick and more brick. Kobe and Gasol missing FTs left and right.
I wouldn't have minded if the Celtics had pulled it out but I'm fine with the Lakers winning again.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
if lakers swap bynum for bosh they will stay relevant for next 5 years. Kobe should be a good player( Top 10 ) for at least another 5 years.
I dont see any WC team being that good that lakers wont have a chance.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Not to make any excuses for Boston, but never has a player being out been more apparent in a game than Game 7 for Perkins. The Lakers would not have such an offensive rebound advantage with Perkins boxing out and clogging the lane. Also, fatigue really hurt the bigs offensively in the fourth quarter, with Doc Rivers saying they purposely went away from the low post then due to Rasheed's fatigue. Also, it was key that both Wallace and Garnett having 5 fouls then they really couldn't defend as aggressively as in the first 3 quarters, with Perkins they would've had 6 extra fouls to use for extra aggression.

Yup. As I also said that Perkins above was a key. But also, it was really divine justice. As Perkins got exempt from that seventh technical from Stern so in the long run, he ended up missing a game like he was suppose to.

Wasn't the Laker parade a beautiful thing.
Can't wait to next year as Kobe and the Lakers have to keep on chasing the records of Michael Jordan and the Celtics.

Any other New York/LA teams you enjoy? Probably not the Clippers because you only like teams that win.

Jets, Giants, Mets, Yankees, Islanders and Devils and the Lakers where ShowTime showed Larry Bird and the Celtics a few things about exciting and winning basketball.

You. You're a fucking idiot. Jets/Giants and Mets/Yankees. Any legitimate fan would punch you in the face for saying those things.

As lots here like 2 teams and I was lucky enough to watch them all growing up. Plus in most cases they couldn't meet until the championship games, in the old days.

OKC's GM might be the best in the NBA. He's a brilliant man.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Rudy Gay just made 5 years 82 million. Joe Johnson looks like hes going to get 6 years 126 mil
This is awesome. And by awesome I mean LOL. Gay got the same contract as Brandon Roy... that is crazy. This also makes teams who extended players last year look smart. Bargnani got 5 years 50, Aldridge got 5 years 70, Rondo got 5 years 50. I would rather have all those guys over Gay.
Also everyone is going to play the Gay got 80, Johnson got 126, I deserve _________ card. So Chris Wallace just screwed the league again. David Lee and Carlos Boozer are going to make like 100 mil LOL
