Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Our ace is apparently Clay Buchholz. Hasn't been a good start. At least it's early. If they're still playing below .500 into next month then I'll be a bit worried. Until then they have some things to work around (injuries) and work out.

But on Pelfrey, think he will hold up....he add a new pitch to his 90 MLP fastball. More worried about Maine & Perez, even though Maine looked good today.

I would simply because Ellsbury covers more ground since he's younger and that's the only position he's played until this year, but both Ellsbury and Cameron are hurt right now so we probably wouldn't see a decision (if there were to be one) on that for a few months.

Guess every team has to finally lose a series, as the Yankees finally do.
But basically, there were 1 or 2 players which screwed up that series for them. So they better shape up very quickly! One mistake Joe G. made in the 3rd game was that he was originally going to intentionally walk Kendry Morales, but he changed his mind and let the pitcher pitch to him, but K-Mo hit a 3-run blast and made Joe regret it big time. Even some of the Yankee fans knew that the lost was going to be at Angel Stadium since they have not won a series season there since 2003. Now there are split for the season As for today, a walk-off bunt to win the game, who would have expected that? I know my Angels play small ball, but isn't this taking that term to literally. No matter, it wins us the game.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
I agree with you that those 2 wins were surprising. But I think on one of them, the Yankees pitched to him because they are testing things out early. They wouldn't have late in the season or in the playoffs.

The Wall Street Journal just reported that the Cleveland Indians are the most hated team in America. Ouch. More than Sox and Yankees? I guess that's what happens when you trade your entire roster.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Very Sad. Mets beating the Phillies and Phillies pitcher hits a hot Mets batter.
Really hate that from any side as a baseball can end someones season.
If I was a batter, I would let a bat slip and see how a pitcher likes a bat coming at their shins as they are throwing a ball. > F the BS pitchers.

Looking at the game results for friday. It looks like a perfect scoreboard. As all the right teams won and lost. Nice to see when everything works out like it is suppose to.

No, they've been all of the place so far this year. As much as I'm glad they were able to score 17 runs last night, how the he'll did they get swept by the Orioles? It's a good thing the Bruins and Celtics are doing well in the playoffs right now, otherwise it'd be absolutely miserable around here. To be honest, I don't think I've watched a whole game yet.

This starting pitching is driving me crazy. Comon guys, you are better than this. Either step up or no Red October.

We can sweep the Angels, but not the Orioles. Looking good against the Yanks though

Wow, this is getting very frusterating. Funny is that everyone in the West is doing lousy. In fact, we can have a losing record and still magically win the division.

Never understood why they only have 4 teams in that division and not 5. Switch it to 5 to make it fair for everyone. But there are fools running MLB.

Actually, I think MLB is more East Coast Bias than anything. If they switch to 5, they have to add another expansion team somewhere else cause you can't have an odd number of teams in a league. A better question should be, where in the West coast can they have another team. Las Vegas? Then after that, where else in the Central or East can you add a 16th team?
