Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
What did I say! I wanted to see Germany play against a real team before declaring them as favorites. I wasn't as convinced with that 4-0 against Australia as everyone was.

FUCKING REF.
So disappointed. They completely broke down after Klose's ejection. Bullshit. Pudolski should not have missed that penalty.

They knew the referee was quick to show cards when fouling from behind. Insofar Klose was stupid and is self to be blamed for tackling the player from behind, especially since it wasn't a dangerous situation close to the German goal.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
Oh shit...
And frankly Germany was great during the first 20 minutes of the seconf half. But after Cacau and Marin came in it kinda slowed down for whatever reason (as it should have been the opposite actually).

Thank you Groaning <3
I think it's gonna be a Brazi vs. Argentina final, with Argentina winning.

The ref went overboard, but Klose was stupid as hell too in that situation.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
U.S. midfield needs to be stronger with the ball, and the defense was giving Slovenia way too much space.

Slovenia is like a different team compared to their first game. Games are getting better...

Bullshit offside call by the ref. It's going to cost the US a win.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
*lol* I praised them too soon, a weak 2nd half from Slovenia. After already leading with 2:0 they almost lost in the end. Only thanks to the referee's mistake they didn't.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
That was definitely not a offside. Bullshit call for sure.
But I am sure they will win their next game and qualify for the 2nd round.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread (Prediction Time!)
US will advance if they beat Algeria by 2 goals, regardless of other games' outcomes. Winning by 1 almost guarantees it as well, unless England wins Algeria and plays Slovenia to a 2:2 or higher tie. There is even a scenario where US could advance with a draw (England ties Algeria and draw or lose to Slovenia). Overall, US is still in good shape, and with Germany no longer guaranteed to win Group D, it may be better off to not win this group.

The Americans absolutely deserved that win. I really enjoyed this game, both sides are good in my book!
