The NFL does the same... as well as the MLB and the NHL.

See as I said before isn't it a better, fairer and more entertaining game when the refs aren't involved and they let the players play.

I told you long ago this series was over. And the NBA/Refs have to give the Celtics 2 incorrect calls to make sure it last this long.

Though if it's anything like this game, it may be one of the worst game 7 in championship sports history. The only reason why I kept watching was because of what happen in 2008, and thought there may be a slight chance of that happening again. Yeah I'm excited. I luv game 7 cause you never know what's going to happen. I think Boston will play better than they ever have and break LA & the Lakers heart. This will force Phil to leave & coach Lebron in Cleveland. or wherever he ends up playing.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
On the Celtics so many questions for Celtic fans?
So Perkins is out? Any chance this turns out to be good with the players that will replace him?
And on Rondo. He has made some incredible baskets with a light touch never the basket. But his foul shooting has stunk. And he is exhausted by the 4th quarter. Bad coaching that he didn't get rested enough? And Game 6 was the 1st time I didn't remember Nate not coming through in the 4th quarter.
As a matter of fact, it was the first time most of Boston's bench stunk. Too much pressure trying to come from Behind.
And Garnett came back from a weak early game to play very good.
But what happened to Ray Allen after that half hitting all those 3s.
* so is Ray Allen the goat of the series.
And if the Celtics win, who gets MVP. To Me Garnett.

Other than that, no Celtic deserves it for the whole series. Except maybe the refs who made 2 horrible calls in the last minute of 2 games that the Celtics won. Otherwise this series is over.

Just wondering, has a team that had a 3-2 lead lost 4-3 many times?

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Well, this is an odd reaction I'm having. I'm not disappointed the Celtics lost/Lakers won. I'm not sure what it is. It's also definitely not sadness or anger...
The Celtics weren't even supposed to be in this situation. I picked them to lose to the Cavs in the second round. Yet, without their largest "big", they took the Lakers to ...7. Honestly, as a sports fan this could be worse. We could live in Cleveland.
Second chance points - 22-4 Lakers Offensive rebounds - 23-8 Lakers
That was the difference. And if the Celtics had had Perkins in there, it might have been a different story. Oh well. Great series.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
What a great and touching Trophy Presentation. And so many great things.
Phil Jackson gets 11th Trophy.
Kobe gets his 5th and revenge for 2008. As Lakers only lost in 2008 as Bynum was hurt!!!!!!
Lakers get Back to Back Champions
Kobe gets MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yup Yanks are going to match the back to back. So back to baseball and the Mets and Yanks.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
I'm not even thinking about that. That's not why the Celtics lost. If you pound the ball inside you're going to get attempts. Sure there were a couple in there that probably should've been called against the Lakers, but the Celtics weren't driving to the net as often as the Lakers were.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
But they still were. That's the point.
17 is a bullshit number when the other team gets 37. ESPECIALLY in a close game.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Oh well. Time for the Celtics to reset. They have a bright future with Rondo, Perk, and Davis, and they can probably get another 2-3 years out of Pierce, but they need to think about what they're going to do with Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Allen was something like 3-11 tonight? Not sure if that will earn him another contract.

Yeah! Completely disregard his 8 Threes. And he went on a similar cold streak 2 years ago before turning it on again.
He's a shooter. Always will be.
