I live in northeastern Pennsylvania, about 5 miles from the NJ border. It's a lot different here; it's a blue area that votes Democratic.
But I've traveled to central Pennsylvania many times, and with the exception of Harrisburg and State College, it's a pretty scary place.
As James Carville said "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama inbetween."
