I didn't watch the playoffs. But I heard a Phillies game was pretty phenomenal.

Agree or disagree with any. some easy ones above Figgins was good but maybe Longoria TB for 3B ??? and just fyi, you forgot to make a pick for pitcher!

LF - Bay (BOS) > glad Bay didn't get it over-rated which is why I didn't include him as a YES. C - Mauer (MIN) > don't watch him enough, but did he get cause of his hitting stature at all? > cause I would have put Laird from Detriot.

You agreed with 3 of Scott's choices added Longoria and Jeter. The rest you got wrong/didn't predict.

Chip, Love how you spend some much time in the baseball forum considering you don't like baseball and didn't watch any playoffs games. Per the following... Chip Munkington wrote: I didn't watch the playoffs. But I heard a Phillies game was pretty phenomenal. and PS. Is that a Detriot Tigers logo that you have - so should Laird from Detriot have gotten the Gold Glove? Like I Grill said above.

Bravo to Torii Hunter for also winning the Silver Slugger for the first time in his career. Move over Vlad, he is our leader now.

Well, I got it only half right. Coghlan did indeed win as I predicted, but it was Andrew Bailey, who saved 26 of 30 games for the A's, won in the AL Rookie of the Year.

Tim Lincacum once again wins the Cy Young for the second year in a row. Yes, my dad still thinks he's cute.

Yes, Carpenter go the most first place votes, but the amount of second and third place votes was enough for Tim to win. Also, Greinke wins the AL Cy Young. Funny thing is, the Angels beat both of these Cy Young winners during their outings this year (in fact, they beat Greinke twice).

Sorry but a horrible pick - just semi-joking but.....look at his September #'s as he just wilted with like 2 HR and 12 RBIs as his slugging numbers dumped. I know that the Playoffs don't count but are you happy with his playoffs #s - 417 Batting Average!!!!!!!!!!! but no homers and 1 RBI's in 3 games even though 2 games were in the Home Run Hitting Lauching Pad aka Yankee Stadium! I know most don't agree but Teixeira turned that team around - with his league leading HR & RBI titles plus his Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award - AND without Gold Glove, Jeter wouldn't have won his Gold Glove as Jeter's errors would have increased by about 10 to where most other shortstops were and CC and AJ probably wouldn't have gotten that many wins! In general I gice Teixeira the most credit to getting the Yankees to 103 wins in his frist Yankee year...so there was that much more pressure! IMO!
