lol
In other news... Kevin Durant hasn't scored less than 25 pts in a game since December 19th.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Spurs is interested in Amare http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumorsQuote: Yahoo! Sports is reporting the San Antonio Spurs are considering making an offer to the Suns for Amare Stoudemire.
"They know they've got to do something," a source tells the website. "They feel like they've got to at least look at this ... and they are."
The big question is what do the Spurs have to tempt the Suns? Manu Ginobili, Richard Jefferson, George Hill?

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Durant 3rd Year Stats: 29.3 PPG .8 Blocks PG 2.9 APG 7.2 RPG .875 FT% .364 3P% .481 FG%
Lebron 3rd Year Stats: 31.4 PPG .8 Blocks PG 6.6 APG 7.0 RPG .738 FT% .335 3P% .480 FG%
Lebron 7th Year Stats: 29.9 PPG 1 Blocks PG 7.8 APG 7.2 RPG .775 FT% .355 3P% .506 FG%
At Durant's pace, there is no doubt in my mind that he is better. He has a younger team around him and still doesn't have the "talent" around him like James.

This season blows. I think I've decided to root for former Pistons for the rest of the season. Hopefully the Finals will be Denver vs. Boston so at least I can watch Chauncey and Rasheed, and remember the good old days.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Durant has made 412 free throws this year, almost 30 more than Lebron, in second place.
Only 3 players that have made over 150 free throws have a better percentage. (Nash, Nowitzki and Billups)
Since November 22nd he's only had two games under 25 points and he hasn't scored less than 25 points since December 19th. 22 games in a row! 43 games over 25 points this season out of 48 games played.
INCREDIBLE.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Assuming he doesn't drop off in the second half, Durant deserves to win Most Improved Player this season. His best accomplishment was an article I read a couple months ago where he became one of the top +/- adjusted players despite being one of the worst +/- adjusted players last season. Whatever change he made there is a direct correlation to the team winning this season versus losing badly last season. And I would prefer he get the MVP over a repeat-win for either Lebron, Kobe, or Dirk.

Could Curry in fact turn out to be the best rookie of the class? He has been on a tear, and his stroke is just as smooth as ever.

I hope the Cavs don't panic and trade Hickson. I think they can win the title as is now. But then again, I thought that last year too. That's why they play the games.

Mavs get Haywood and Butler. Huge score for them. Should make them strong enough to be able to compete with LA and Denver.

Looks like the Ilgauskas/J.J. Hickson for Amar'e Stoudemire trade is getting closer to happening. Still not sold on this deal. Hard to pass up the chance to get an all-star power forward though. Maybe the Cavs can get him to play some defense.

I think JJ is a future star, and Amare has a long history with injury. Clearly a short term vs long term dealio here. Larry Hughes was one of those too. How many championships did we win with him? And I'd miss Z. This feels too much like Lakers or Boston getting a great big man for free. I'd rather the Cavs win a legit championship.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
I think Amare is a terrible fit for the Cavs myself. LeBron just needs consistent shooters around him. They are the best team right now, I dont think a major move would do anythign but hurt them.
