 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Well Fudge. Ya know, the Saints won this due to that onside kick (brilliant cuz it worked) and their offensive line was impenetrable in the 2nd half to go along with Brees spot on accuracy. That INT return for a TD was just icing on the cake. The Colts defense just vanished after that goal line stand. There was no penetration, no pressure on Brees, and they were unable to come up with any big plays in the 2nd half. The 51 yard try wasn't a good decision either imo. Boo. Boo. Boo. Waaa

I'm happy for the Saints & the city. I'm sad for Peyton but I know he'll win another SB b4 he's done.

It's what the Colts get for giving up on the perfect season.

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
well 2 things are clear....
Eli is the better Manning QB
and
The Jets would have killed the Saints and won the Super Bowl.....if Greene never got hurt. Damn Shame but we all can consider the best team in the NFL right now even without the Super Bowl win.

The better team won the SB sorry Grill, if you don't get there you can't make that claim. The Saints deserve the win, they beat 3 very good teams.

Stop right now. Eli isn't the reason they won that superbowl. He should sent a bottle of wine to the guy who caught that prayer he threw up in the air. The caught that pass on his Head for god sakes. Eli is decent but he's nowhere near a Peyton. Just look at it fantasy football wise. Peyton or Eli is ZERO CONTEST. Records wise Peyton or Eli again, ZERO CONTEST. Superbowls 1-1 to 1-0. Again it's Peyton.

There were to many of them. I found them boring. Only the dog one really clicked with me. It's like the people making these commercials decided to stop making funny ones.

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Grill...you are a fuckin idiot. I mean seriously I think you say some of this shit JUST TO STIR up some shit. Nobody in thier right mind really thinks that Eli is better than peyton, nor do you. Peyton still is and will be one of the greatest QB's to ever play.
I know your pissed cause "both" of your teams suck. Giants suck HARD and...well
jets suck as well! Granted they did make the "final four"...is that even a term in football? lol
Jets suck!

waa waa waa, too many clueless cry babies here....
and on Peyton, just saying you have to come through in the big moments....
and how many Super Bowls does he have??????
and when he was going for an easy tie for overtime, he through a horrible interception that lost the Super Bowl for the Colts....plus alot of not great play during the rest of the game...
so sorry losers but that takes Manning down several spots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Rex Grossman got to a super bowl. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson WON superbowls. So they're obviously just as good as Manning.

They did great with Prince and that's pretty much all I can recall as a good show ATM . That and Michael Jackson in 1993 . Maybe when Janet was on too . You're an idiot.

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
The onside kick is something you never see in such epic games.
You usually see conservative plays in the superbowl, but at least once during the game you see something you hardly ever see.
