 Re: 2009 College Football Season
I told you all months ago: Boise State will beat any team at any place. That's exactly why the BCS chickened out on giving them a BCS opponent.

TCU's defense is as great as advertised... but I didn't realize how good Boise's defense was... They both only allowed 10 pts! Incredible.

 Re: 2009 College Football Season
So I'm listening to Jim Rome and they have chris peterson on, Boise state head coach, and Rome asked him if he felt they deserved to get national title votes. Peterson said no.

 Re: 2009 College Football Season
The coaches play politics by not getting involved with a question like that. He can't go out and lobby for votes because that makes him and his team look like whiners, so they just let the chips fall where they may. Now, as much I would like him to say "We're going to be one of two undefeateds and I do think we deserve #1 votes." He can't do that and I understand why.
All they can do is just perform on the field and hope for the best. I am hearing on the radio that it's expected Boise will probably be preseason top 5.

 Re: 2009 College Football Season
Imagine if TCU and Boise hadn't played eachother but both won their bowl games. Is Obama then going to invite all 3 teams to the WH. That's ridiculous. There's only one "national champion".

When they wiki 2009-2010 NCAA national champ, it'll either be alabama or texas.

It's over already at 17-6 cause the backup QB of Texas can't make a pass and Texas defense can't seem to tackle Bama's RBs. Fucking Fuck!

Jim Halpert wrote: wtf has happened to bama's offense. it's non existent this half. They got ultra conservative being content with running plays during the 3rd since their defense had the game in control but now that the Texas offense has finally been able to do thing they are now being a bit more creative with play selection. Texas is prolly kicking themselves on that freak INT return for a TD just before halftime now. They do have all 3 timeouts though just in case.

 Re: 2009 College Football Season
Ingram got hurt for a while there too and that hurt Alabama's offense. Texas blowing that TO could hurt them.

 Re: 2009 College Football Season
lol
After that 4-22 with 48 yards and 2 INTs I thought that this might be the worst QB performance in history but he's really got it together in the 2nd half.
....
OMG.
Just as I'm typing this shit he gets hit and fumbles the ball. What a bitch.
