Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: Levy re-takes lead
Also had eye on Kevin Martin too, guess Nebs grabbed him at right time, I was seriously considering taking him yesterday. Richard Hamilton better come back really soon fully recovered or I may have made the wrong choice.

Yea seems everyone had an eye on Martin....I finally gave up on Hamilton and decided to roll the dice on Iverson instead....still got my fingers crossed for McGrady tho

Heh, the two players I was debating last night before deciding to wait another day got picked up by AR and Levy today.

Wow, the battle is tight, and Newbie (Alex) is now having a very formidable lineup after picking up Bogut and Love.

Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: It gets crowded at the top
I was just about to add Josh Howard, but was hesitating on who I should drop, and then got interrupted by work. Now you got to him first!
Thanks, my team has been losing several weeks in a row until I picked up Bogut and Love. Though I think my last week was a fluke week since the opponent wasn't even playing and was sitting very capable players. This week, based on Monday's games I am currently losing 1-10-1 to Nebs even though he has 5 injured players on his roster, ugh.

I noticed similar things, e.g. Clippers only having two games this week, and I have two of their players.

Anyone want to trade a forward or center for one of my point guards (Chris Paul, Tyreke Evans, Jameer Nelson, Aaron Brooks, Russell Westbrook)?

Baron Davis is on the block... I'm sick of his bad FG% nights

Hey Shack, just a heads up: Did you read the rules of the league regarding pick-ups?

Richard Hamilton for Josh Howard? Not even considering the injury risk of Howard this is as lopsided as it gets

Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: It gets crowded at the top
Seems fine to me. Hamilton scores more points on a consistent basis, but doesn't really contribute anything else. Both are coming off injuries and missed a lot of games, so hard to know what their average performance will be, and Howard had a higher pre-season ranking.
The other trade actually feels more lopsided (in Alex's favor) to me, as Davis and Bargnani have consistently outperformed the counterpart in rankings across the board. Evans is first a rookie, and then I always have the concern of what will happen when Martin comes back.

Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: It gets crowded at the top
Hamilton has better shooting percentages, far more points, twice as much assitss per game. Howard on the other side is just slghtly better at rebounds and better at fouls. Add Howards injury to it and I think it's very lopsided. But if you don't share the view, I've got no problem with that

Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: It gets crowded at the top
I already have Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love, and am in the process of getting Baron Davis and Trevor Ariza; all UCLA alumni.
Now if I were to trade for or pick up Jordan Farmar, Earl Watson, Matt Barnes, Jason Kapono, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Arron Afflalo, Ryan Hollins, Darren Collison, and Dan Gadzuric then I could potentially have an All-UCLA roster.

Re: NBA Fantasy League 2009: It gets crowded at the top
I want to trade some scoring and/or rebounding for more assists, but not sure which guy to target.
