the 10th best SEC team easily dominates the second best ACC team. Amazing how deep and dominate the SEC is.

There were alot of good chances for those tops teams to lose but Texas AM, Auburn, Illinois failed against all of them.

The only good things this weekend was that one of Boise St's potential opponents to a BCS game got knocked off in Ok State.

Now, it'd probably be preferable for them that Cincy and most importantly Texas not lose their games next weekend.

At this point, I think they are in and clearly due a BCS game.

Almost forgot what I wanted to post about due to Rev's post.

Um, how about that Toby Gearhart! God Dang he's a beast. On top of taking 21 credit hours he's plowing over the Notre Dame defense.

I really hope he gets an invite to the Heisman ceremony.

I think the SEC was 41-5 in their non conference schedule this year. Two of those losses were by GA Tech. The other losses were by:

OK State
UCLA
AZ St
Army

I have to say that that is very impressive. Also, Georgia appears to have played the toughest non conference schedule in that league facing OK state, AZ state, GA tech and TN tech. Mmm, they love those secondary schools.

The SEC non-conference schedule is an absolute JOKE. And Mr. Arkansas is such an SEC homer it's disgusting.

not really a homer. i picked Oklahoma to beat Florida last year. And think Texas vs. which ever SEC program will be a very good game, that will be difficult to pick. I dont see how anyone can argue though that the SEC isnt the deepest conference in football this year.

Because of their CONFERENCE schedule. When you're conference is over-rated, your "schedule" seems tougher.

As I said before, the toughest opponent Florida played this year was LSU and LSU is very average.

Weis is officially OUT.

Will an NFL team pick him up to be an O-Coordinator before the playoffs?

Problem is if Texas loses then Boise St won't make a BCS game at all.

If Texas did lose I would hope TCU would make the championship game but there would probably be a chance that Alabama or Florida would play in a rematch or that TCU would get jumped by Cincy due to voters.

They can't deny Boise a BCS spot. The lead in the rankings ahead of #7 is too big to shut them out. I hope Texas and Cincinatti lose, that would lead to Mayhem

That would be best for TCU as I can't see how the SEC loser would jump them since they'd be ranked #2 and possibly get a few 1st place votes, but Boise St would most likely still be out of the BCS in that scenario too.

Many people have said if Florida loses a close game, and if Texas loses, TCU and Cincinnati would not jump Florida.

Okay FL goes from #1 to what...#3? Possible I guess. At worst #4 if Cincy is still undefeated.

Let's just say the USA and Harris are:

Alabama
TCU
Cincy
Florida

I guess Florida could still be ahead of TCU in the BCS after the computers are factored but if that's the case that would royally suck.
