 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
I think the media is sleeping on Detroit. They're much improved over last year. They have good depth and appear to have real good chemistry. Granted it was only against the lowly Grizzlies, but they looked really good last night. I think they can finish 4th or 5th in the East.

I wouldn't mind seeing a trade of either rip or prince and try and get a big man. It hurts to say that too since they've been my favorite pistons for years

Poor Bulls. They prepared for months, they circled the game on the calender, and they lose by 28.

It hurts to say that too since they've been my favorite pistons for years After watching the Pistons without Rip last night, I'm not sure trading him would be a good idea. I like Tayshaun, but I think he is overrated, and a trading him for a halfway decent big guy would be ok with me. In an ideal world, they'd package up Stuckey and Prince and get a good big guy. I'm just not that sold on Stuckey, and I think Will Bynum is a better point guard. Ben Wallace is playing like a beast right now. Not sure if he can keep it up all year, but he nearly looks 2004/5-ish. The loss to the Thunder was almost all on Villanueva's shoulders... he was horrible on both ends of the court. I'm not that familiar with his pre-Pistons work, but so far I've been very unimpressed.

Pessimist side says the first game was a mirage... big home opener crowd and at one point Mike Brown was playing Big Z and Shaq together against Bosh and Bargnani

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
Celtics improve to 4-0 with a win over the Hornets, and just a little while ago they resigned Rajon Rondo to a 5-year $55 million deal. That was an absolute must and they got it done.

Another nice win by the Rockets tonight. They will probably be worn out as the season progresses, but so far so good.

Celtics shoot the ball at 44% to the T'Wolves 52% and they still win.

 Re: NBA 2009-2010 season
A real cool story > Kobe always wants to be better! PS. SURE HOPE REV DOESN'T ALSO HATE KOBE AND THE LAKERS! http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_d ... nba,200710Kobe putting Olajuwon's post moves to work By J.E. Skeets In an effort to take his game to the next level over the summer, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant(notes) solicited help from of one of the greatest players of all time — and personal favorite — Hakeem Olajuwon. A week before training camp in September, the master of "The Dream Shake" gave Bryant a two-hour lesson on everything from head fakes and ball fakes to spin moves and jab steps. And judging by the looks of Kobe's moves during Wednesday's win over the Rockets, the star pupil was paying close attention in class. . . . . story continues . . . .
