This was the first game Lincecum has ever lost when getting 10+ strikeouts.

He pitched the better game, the hit batter was his only mistake.

Did you watch the game? Well I did!

and how about a double after that hit batter, that was a bigger mistake. He should have beared down and not allowed a run!

So 2 mistakes in late innings was pretty big and enough to ruin a good game.

Do you know anything about baseball?

I'm seriously starting to doubt it.

Nothing is wrong with his game.

He got the win and earned it. But he did not pitch the best game of the 2 pitchers.

Well you are now wasting alot of time debating the game. :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha:

and now you are acting like you know what you are talking about without even seeing the game. :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha:

so whatever, go back to planning on how the Dodgers will miss the playoffs with a 6.5 game cushion with 25 to play.

:hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha:

Wow, you aure waste alot of time on things you don't care about!

Think that is sad/pathetic as time is too important to waste.

Oh, and just to remind you...

2 years ago the Mets lost a seven-game division lead with 17 to play by going 5-12. Last year they lost a 3-1/2-game lead with 17 left by going 7-10.

Do you know why they lost those leads? Bad pitching, and hot teams behind them.

Colorado and SF are 100% capable of winning 6-8 straight. Guess who the Rockies play the final 3 games of the season? LA!

Here is Colorado's remaining sched:
6 vs. AZ (61-74)
4 vs. Cinci (60-73)
6 vs. SD (59-76)
Only 3 vs. SF (73-61)
3 vs. Stl (79-56)
3 vs. Mlwk (65-68)
3 vs. LAD (80-55)

Combined W. Pct. of: .492 (1851-1912)

28 games remaining.

Here is SF's remaining sched:
3 vs. Mlwk (65-68)
6 vs. SD (59-76)
6 vs. LAD (80-55)
Only 3 vs. Col (74-60)
6 vs. AZ (61-74)
4 vs. Cubs (67-65)

Combined W. Pct. of: .501 (1885-1874)

28 games remaining.

Here is LAD's remaining sched:
5 vs. SD (59-76)
3 vs. AZ (61-74)
6 vs. SF (73-61)
6 vs. Pitt (53-79)
3 vs. Wash (46-88)
3 vs. Col (74-60)

Combined W. Pct. of: .447 (1522-1886)

26 games remaining.

Obviously LAD have the easiest remaining schedule. But if they struggle against it's division, it could be worse than the Mets situation 2 years ago.

Wasn't good enough for what exactly? I don't think they're focusing on the division anymore since that was over a month ago, and they're still leading the Wild Card.

well 3 more games on the road after a horrible beating. Now looking at a 2-2 record on road trip and only a 2 game W/C lead.

PS. With 12 runs and 17 hits given up so far in the 5th, let me know of any positives I missed. As I think Terry saw none as he has pulled his whole starting team and replaced everyone I think.

Haven't seen that in a long time!

It's odd. You didn't point out the positives last night. Yet they're losing tonight and here you are. Where'd ya go? You're obsession with the Red Sox despite being a Dodgers "fan" is really quite alarming now. I don't even think about the Yankees this much, let alone another team on the opposite end of the country in the league I could care less about until October.

And having fun duking it out between Chip and Price? :funny:

FYI, That is a question you already asked and I answered. Remember you fool! Anyway, I would love a championship series of Red Sox - Yankees and Mets - Dodgers if I had to pick 4 teams.

And as I stated yesterday, I was very caught up in Pedro game the night before. San Francisco 1
Philadelphia 2, Final. so I didn't play much attention to the Red Sox game. Discuss it if you want.

But tonight I watched the Red Sox so I was discussing that and wondered what positives you saw? Since the beginning of the season, we have disagreed that you thought the Red Sox had a good team while I was not impressed that much.

Lucky for the Red Sox that they got Martinez or they would be games out of the Wild Card.

Colorado will win it's last 6. Knocking LAD to either the wild card or out altogether.

whatever as the Pedro-Phillie-SF game was exciting for a baseball fan. Sorry you couldn't figure that one out.

and see you are ignoring any Red Sox positives, maybe cause they aren't very many.

Not tonight there were. That's fucking obvious.

The entire season though I'd say has been positive, and has been full of positives, considering they lost Dice-K and Wakefield, (who was on a roll with an 11-3 record) around the All-Star break. It's really odd to say this, but at the time he could've been considered an early front runner for the AL Cy Young.

The fact that if the season ended today and they'd be in the playoffs, despite losing two of their starters is FANTASTIC. They're in good shape, especially if Wakefield can give them anything this month.

are you even a Red Sox fan or you don't watch enough games.

Wakefield and his 4 plus ERA was carried by the strong offense especially Bay. Do you know that Wakefield era is the same as 08 when Wakefield was a 500 pitcher.

So Wakefield pitching will mean nothing without the hitters reversing course like the were in the first half.
