People are bound to end up commenting in the same threads and sadly, it results into another flame just because posting in each other's threads and those of others forces you to sometimes not take the other person's side. This is taken as an indirect attack.
No one is following anyone around. Then why wasn't his comment in this thread about the estimates? It was clearly only posted to insult me. It wasn't just a thread we both commented in, I was commenting about numbers, Nazgul was commenting about me, like he has done more than a few times today, so save it.
I already told you. People frequent the same threads. I never post in the derby at all. But i still read through it. Recently with all the flaming going on, i'm even replying but i'm not following anyone into that thread to comment on their remarks.

Yep, people post in the same threads all the time, but only Nazgul has frequently been posting in threads like Star Wars, where he has no interest, just to start insulting, and since he did the exact same thing here, I'm not going to act stupid and pretend it was just a coincidence and chance encounter. If you want to, so be it.

Ok lets put internet polls aside, I guess we can neglect internet reviews too I suppose since it falls in the same category. So what we base the WOM on is by people's reaction at the movie theaters. I dont know about the your movie theater but the people I went to see it with seem to enjoy it although there were quite a few annoying giggles during Keanu Reeves delivery of his lines which wasnt meant to be funny (Dont you just hate that people being that intentionally disruptive). The few times in the theater were I seen bad reaction was during the Village,Van Helsing when everyone exits and is all quiet or when they outright boo at the end like for Open Water.

My reaction to Van Helsing, was that I was entertained, but had no desire to see it again. I gave it a B. It affected my repeat viewings (didn't go again), and I didn't recommend it to anybody. As a rule, most people don't recommend movies that they can't really get behind. I actually did watch Van Helsing again on DVD, and it's since become a guilty pleasure of mine, but I understand why crowds were turned off, same with the Hulk. One of my favorite comedies, and my best friend too, is Wild Wild West, but again, even though I love it, I understand why it was not received well by everyone. The Phantom Menace too.
The reaction at my theater was a quick exit, and no talking. I took my nephew and his friend, both teenagers. My nephew thought it was a disappointment, and his friend liked it, but thought it would be better than it was.
In truth, there are no cold hard facts yet, but when it does nosedive, I fully expect excuses made for why it did, with WOM being swept under the rug, as if it had nothing to do with that. Oh well.

The movie got some claps at the end of my showing and I didn't hear any that sucked type comments. No one seemed to be greatly disappointed.

The only movies I saw last year that got clapping at the end were Passion of the Christ and F911. Rarely any movies have any clappings at the end, not even Spiderman 2 or Man on Fire even though both were well received

I said some claps. Meaning that some people liked it. Maybe KR fans. Not a big deal either way.
Also, usually when you are walking out you can hear some people complaining about the movie - which I didn't hear any bad talk. Only, of course, at my showing.

I was in the neighborhood and couldn't help but overhear that Constantine received an applause?
That seems highly improbable.
