Yessssssssssss, I'm in denial. It's deep down inside. I know Mav is right, but I'm fighting for Constantine. YEAH.

Looks like you need more facts to prove it.

Yahoo Review Average Grade: B (terrible, that's basically like an F! AHHH!!)
IMDB: 6.6/10 (oh no, that's terrible, 90% drop second weekend terrible)

Oh, and MDB has a B+, which is not much higher than Constantine. Looks like MDB will be dropping like a rock too because of it's "terrible" WOM. It didn't even get a chance to redeem itself after being "whooped!" by Son of the Mask, AND Constantine!

Thanks for posting those two examples. The "B" , which was Libs' grade, and I said would be one end of the spectrum, where people thought it was "ok", but not great, which wouldn't help repeat viewings or WOM, and then the 6.6, which is a "D" in any school you'll ever find. That was my grade. So you see, it pretty clearly shows from your examples, that people aren't loving the movie, as I said. They are either thinking it is ok, or they think it's a disappointment. Thanks for doing the leg work for me.

Hulk has a 6.0/10 at IMDB. Hmm, so is it a D- in most people's minds?
Die Another Day has a 6.4/10, as does Tomorrow Never Dies.
Goldeneye has a 6.8/10. The World is not Enough has a 6.3/10

So, I ask, are these ALL "D" movies? Even though, percentage-wise, it's a D, it also equates to three stars out of five. Considering that in most newspapers, a four star movie is known as quite an achievement, I don't think three stars is THAT bad.

Some of those were Matrix fans who were somehow obsessed over hating the Hulk. Yes, all of those movies had people that didn't like them. For everybody who rated it a 10, somebody came in and rated it a 1. Now do you see why I put no stock in internet polls? Hell, before ROTK came out, 17 people decided to vote it as an A. It's not the most credible of sources.

Well its not quite a D at imdb. The Aviator was nominated for best picture yet it only received a 7.5/10 about the same grade as Passion of the Christ. Ocean's 12 received a 6.1/10 but still managed to crawl past 125 million with a 39 million opening. Anything abover 7 is excellent and anything above 6 is just above average. While I'm not saying that Constantine will perform like O12, its legs wont be as bad like say Blade3 or Elektra[/quote]

Those internet polls are nothing that are accurate, so I really don't pay attention to them, I was just having fun with Zing when I said that, hence my  , but Libs said to shut up, and I'm going to listen.

Ha, you're good at distorting the facts.

"Unprovoked", that one was good...

Well, I would appreciate him not trying to bait me into replying when I just said I was shutting up. What else could I do after that but defend myself? Like I said, click on Nazgul's profile, and you'll see him going out of his way to be insulting and act like an asshole to me. That doesn't mean that the administrator, friend or not, should call me out on it like I'm imagining things. The proof is right there for anybody to see. No offense, arsi, and I'm sorry I snapped at you, but what was wrong with being satisfied that I said I was shutting up? I expected Nazgul to seize the opportunity to insult me again, but didn't expect you to try to bait a reply. :???:

no .. i'm not joking around. no one is seriously folllowing anyone around. People are feeling animosity towards each other. Thats what happens. People are bound to end up commenting in the same threads and sadly, it results into another flame just because posting in each other's threads and those of others forces you to sometimes not take the other person's side. This is taken as an indirect attack.

No one is following anyone around.

Then why wasn't his comment in this thread about the estimates? It was clearly only posted to insult me. It wasn't just a thread we both commented in, I was commenting about numbers, Nazgul was commenting about me, like he has done more than a few times today, so save it.

You can snap at me all you want Mav. We're friends outside the forum so its a little tough for us both to say things to each other. You dont need to apologise just because we converse otherwise as well. We both should call each other out if we think we're in the wrong.
