 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Just dumb by the Colts. Up by 2 with 2 minutes to play, they have 4th and 1 at the Jags 37 and decide to go for it. Now Jacksonville only needs to cover 30 yards for a FG to win, They got away with it, but why risk it all in such a situation?

Patriots next week? Houston was to me the most overrated team in preseason-talk... Nice run by Peterson

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Too predictable Gilbride. You always run Jacobs through the middle on 3rd down near the goalline. Mix it up for Christ's sake.
And just because it's fun he does it on 4th down again and predictably fails. No wonder they have been terrible in the red zone since over a year

Smartest play of the day: Throwing an interception after you crossed the line of scrimmage. Well done, Mr. Campbell

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Giants have: Great running game, Great D-Line. Second rate receivers. Average secondary. Average QB.
Redskins have: Average QB, RB, WR's, D-Line, Secondary.
SF is the same as the Redskins, same with St. Louis and Seattle.
Cardinals have the best receivers, QB playing currently. But average O line and average D.
All so very average.

You forgot the best O-Line in the league, the secondary is injury-depleted and you cannot say anything about the receivers since they're virtually unknown. Could be busts, could be a great group. Judging from this game they could be okay

Judging from this game they could be okay O-line goes with running game. Which is why I said running GAME. And their receivers ARE second rate. Even if they play well.

Wah? Last year they had the 6th best run game in the NFL and theyve added Laurence Maroney and Fred Taylor.

All so very average. My Comments......... Wrong. First Giants running game is probably only very good. Think it was better in past years. GREAT D-LINE. You are correct. But the receivers and Eli will surprise. Remember last year someone made big coments on Mario M. Forget who was pro or con. But my friend who is a big Michigan guy, said he would be good. And some clutch catches today. and in the Super Bowl, Steve Smith was a big key coming back from injury...and he is doing it again with some key catched...(just think of a better Wes Walker)

Who's Wes Walker? He must be awful if Smith is better than him.
