I am shocked the Eagles signed him. They have McNabb and Feeley not sure where Vick fits in unless they use him in some kind of wildcat formation.

He has blown so many big games in his career I wouldn't want him as a starter.

Vick is amazing. All he needs is a little touch on the ball. He has a CANNON for an arm.

I looked over his stats the last 3 seasons and he was pretty consistent and even made a good improvement his last year on the job especially in rushing. As long as he stays "clean" and learns their system he should fit in fine. GL2Him

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
so I read that >>> Goodell, who met with Burress and his representatives last week, decided the case didn't need to be reviewed because Goodell already had decided to suspend Burress for one season, sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.
so how long should Goodell suspend Stallworth. 5/10 years, Life? > Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth pleaded guilty to manslaughter while driving under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to 30 days of jail followed by two years of house arrest and eight years of probation. In addition, his driver’s license has been suspended for life.
Stallworth had been drinking at a Miami Beach club before hitting 59-year-old construction worker Mario Reyes, who was walking across the MacArthur Causeway after finishing his shift as a crane operator. Stallworth’s blood alcohol level was .126, well above Florida’s legal limit of .08.

Wierd stuff all around - as even that Chicgo Blackhawk player got mad for being 30 cents so he supposely beat up a cabbie....and then this
Bucs’ Talib arrested for allegedly hitting cabbie By FRED GOODALL, AP Sports Writer TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib(notes) was held out of practice Thursday after police say he punched a taxi driver and was jailed on charges of simple battery and resisting arrest without violence.

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Great, now we have to worry about Brady's shoulder for two weeks. He looked fine on the bench moving the arm around, but I also thought he looked fine coming off the field last year against the Chiefs. My guess is he's fine though.

Levy wrote: My god. Another year with Grandpa. We need a strike. He was one of the top QBs later year when the Jets were 8-3. I think his TD to INT was about 20-13. Somewhere around that, but when you get injured you get injured and he kept on playing in a less than 100% state and we saw how that went. I think he makes the Vikes loads better since they have an experienced QB who can make downfield passes and is more likely to keep defenses honest about stuffing the run when Favre is in the backfield.

 Re: 2009 NFL Season Discussion
Duh.
It's just annoying as all hell because he keeps ruining the sport every year just to get press for himself. Many of his teammates have gone on record on saying they think he's in it for the attention.

Because he's taking the place of unproductive QBs? And who cares what his former (current?) teammates say. If they are current teammates they should be happy to have him.

He RETIRED 2 years ago.
Get the fuck over yourself. You're washed up, and you're not winning another SB, which would really be the only reason for him to come back... besides the MONEY AND ATTENTION.
