Bourne Conspiracy - Better than most movie games, although that's not necessarily saying a ton. It felt like 1/2 Splinter Cell and 1/2 Gears of War, but not quite as good as either. But, it was quick, easy, looked halfway decent, and overall was a solid and mostly enjoyable game. Grade: B

Afro Samurai - Very early on, but totally cool style and funky music. Not 100% sold on the puzzle solving or platform jumping, though.

FIFA 06 - Oh my, this is bad. I tried 2 games and can't score a goal. Just confirms my feeling that soccer is the lowest form of sport and really should be banned from the Earth.

Got some more Fallout3 in last night. I'm nowhere near done, but I am slowly making progress.

You picked a bad one to delve into the world of association football. Pro Evo would have been a far better bet.

I tried it for the achievement points, but if I want to try soccer again I'll remember Pro Evo is the one to get.

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust - Mind boggling bad. Terribe camera, frustrating checkpoints, lame gameplay, horrendous graphics, unfunny attempts at humor, and just not fun. So bad at times it really makes you wonder if it was developed by drunken retarded monkeys... then again, they'd probably make a better game.

Afro Samurai - Finished this one. The visuals, presentation, and voice acting was very, very good. The combat took a bit to get used to, but once you level up higher and get used to it, it was decent. Problem was that the game was repetitive - it felt long, which is odd for a 5 hour game. Plus, there were some very frustratingly hard moments in the game that felt really unnecessary. Overall the beautiful presentation made it worth playing, but it's definitely a few feet shy of being a great game. Grade: B

Wheelman Its alright. Something in the range of Just Cause. Its not bad but it defnately needs alot of improvement over the short story(6 hrs if you just do the main missions) and terrible dialog. The side missions are also boring too. I love the driving and the manuevers you can pull off. C+

Godfather 2 They took off the bruising feature in this version . The gang recruitment is done rather well and its interesting since you can upgrade them but their AI sucks. Other than that most of the locations look the same and you would spend more time fighting gangs and winning over properties than working on the main missions. There seems to be only a dozen main missions. I guess if you like the original Godfather game, you would probably like it although I found this sequel a step down because of how easy the game is. B/B-

Is the Godfather 2 improved visually over the first? I thought the first was kind of ugly.

No visual improvements that I noticed. They took out character bruising :disgust: . That was something I liked in the first game especially when you try to extort business owners

Long. Lots of tedious walking. But it's a good game, especially considering its lower budget.

I can't remember how many hours it took me but it was over 50hrs for sure. Keep in mind, though, i'm a very thorough gamer, no corner of the world is safe from me.

Wait... woah, woah, woah... slow down a bit!

What and who and where and what game has boobs? My inner 13 year old wants to add it to the collection of DOA, Lara Croft, and Rumble Roses games.

Kane & Lynch - Unlikable characters and story, some bad controls (cover system in particular, and aiming is kind of difficult), and some pretty lame AI (both allies and enemies). It does have a diverse set of levels so far, and that keeps it semi interesting, but overall it's not that great.

Shaun White's Stupid Snowboarding Game - Painfully slow and boring snow board action. I generally don't mind snow boarding game - Amped 3 and Dark Summit were decent - but this one is really bland.

Battlefield Earth: Bad Company - A war shooter with funnier characters and dialogue. I kind of like it so far. It's nothing to write about on an internet message board, but I think I may tell my mother about it. When does John Travolta show up?

Army of Two - I have never before played a war shooter starring two gay guys, but hats off to the developers for being progressive. It's a much better 2 person shooter than Kane and Lynch, and while all the male on male hugging, touching, and groping make me a little uncomfortable, I like some of the ideas the incorporate like "aggro" where enemies will only focus on the most aggressive protaganist, allowing you to be the shooting target, or do the flanking while your buddy gets shot... I always make my computer buddy be the target.

One other I forgot....

Saints Row 2 DLC - It was fun to break out SR2 again, but this was disappointing DLC. The new missions were decent, but there was only 3 short missions and then done. They threw in a few new vehicles (a couple cool ones), some new hairstyles (nothing worth mentioning), a new homie (Tera Patrick), and a few new clothing items (none worthwhile at all).... all in all it was really sparse. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't recommend it at 800 MS points ($10), unless you really like SR2. Feels more like 400point content.

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard - At the core, Eat Lead is a decent, but very generic shooter. There is nothing bad about it, but at the same time there is absolutely nothing with the core game mechanic that is original, and it feels like it is lacking that *something* extra to make it stand out from being so generic. There are parts of the game that felt like they were going somewhere with it (like the absorbing code from the enemies or the hot/cold ammo), but in the end it just didn't go anywhere.

But, the game had a really good sense of humor, presentation, and some excellent voice acting (Willl Arnett, Neil Patrick Harris). It also had some of the better achievements that were also delivered with a sense of humor and EASILY.

In the end it was failry short, straightforward, easy, funny, and an easy 800+ points, which more than made up for the generic-ness of the core game. I'll give it a B/B+

Pure - It very much feels like a modern Wave Race, but on land... from the characters, to the jump, tricks, and boosting. That's a good thing. I'm still early on, but so far, so good.

Tenchu-Z - Another one I'm very early on in, but it's a painfully bland stealth game. It's no Splinter Cell, that's for sure.

Wall-E - Very kids game-ish, which I should have expected, but for whatever reason I thought it would be a little better than the standard kids game.

Terminator 4, pretty much a borefest. Its not terrible or anything just average. This is just a quick cash cow. Do not recommend.
