Plot Summary: In the comedy "Man of the House," a by-the-book Texas Ranger, Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones), tracks down a key informant with the help of a streetwise preacher Percy Stevens (Cedric the Entertainer). But when the informant is eliminated, the hard-headed Sharp is assigned to protect the only witnesses to the crime - a group of University of Texas cheerleaders - by going undercover and moving in with the five uncontrollable college coeds.

The trailer is absolutely terrible. It just looks *so* bland. Seriously, what in this makes it stand out from 2,000,000,000 other movies?

After viewing the trailer again, I have changed my mind about this. This looks like it could bomb like The Big Bounce. Tommy Lee Jones could be sort of a draw though, since the last time he did comedy like this was in Men in Black (I think).

Got plenty-o-laughs when they ran the trailer here. I guess it depends on how they market it from here on out. I'm confident it will do modest numbers.

I agree, I think it will do alittle better than the horrible numbers the above have said. Though I am not sure what it is opening againist to hurt its opening weekend.
