 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Way to drop a freaking stink bomb Atlanta ... 27 points in the 1st half! What the heck man. Really, the only reason I am routing for them (not necessarily to win but to at least score some) is because of the fantasy league ... but still that's mighty pathetic.

Bobcats are good. Think them and the Raptors are the favorites for the 8th seed

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
The Nuggets have done pretty dang well without Melo. We haven't exactly been playing elite teams, but nonetheless we have done rather well. When Melo returns I hope his elbow and his hand are healed and that he can contribute from the get-go.

The Bobcats and the Pacers have now beaten both the Lakers and the Celtics.

Anyone know how long G. Wallace is going to be out with a partially collapsed lung?

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
On Sportscenter they said that he'll be released from the hospital either later today or tomorrow and then the Bobcats would see from there. From the way they put it though they made it seem like he'd be rejoining the team later on in the road trip. I can't imagine him playing for some time though.

Thank you Devin Harris for being a ballhog, I'm 100% positive Vince would've pissed on us again if he got it

David West over Melo? Are you kidding me? What in the world were they thinking? Yes Melo's been hurt ... but so was Tony Parker. Bah, what a bunch of crap.

Calderon misses a free throw, 10 from the record. Motherfucker. Fucker. Oh and we lost to the 8th seed Bucks without Redd, at home... that too. Also we got owned by a former player. Worst game ever?

Worst game ever? I hate to point it out, but record wise the Raps are the 2nd worst team in the East. Trade O'Neal already. Cav's got Z back tonight. Wish we had him against Orlando.

Melo looked pretty good tonight. Nuggets played well. Hopefully we can continue this trend and play well with Melo back in the lineup.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Bynum fucks up his knee play Memphis in January when a teammates runs into him. Deja vu much? Will be interesting to see how bad it is, if he misses the year again that's just ugly for LA... wouldn't feel confident about any prognosis, he was supposed to be gone for 8 weeks last year

I watched the Suns/Bulls game tonight. Wow @D. Rose. He tore the Suns apart. It's crazy to watch him sometimes because when he explodes off the ball it looks like other people are jogging around him.

Brought in a defensive coach for a team that refuses to play defense.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Stephen A. Smith is an unreliable idiot but for what it's worth, he just said Bosh has told the Raptors he won't resign next year. Think if anything's been said it'll be kept quiet (I hope), but stay tuned. His lack of interest lately isn't a good sign, and even if we keep him paying a guy closer to Gasol level 1/3 of the cap in a recession could fuck us anyways. Think we'll keep him until at least draft night though, to get a more clear view of things. (and NY can't trade their pick until after the draft and they're a good fit. My top return would be a Alderidge and Fernandez package though)

Bynum's out 8-12 weeks, though he was supposed to be out 8 weeks last year and never came back.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Jameer Nelson with a torn labrum. Same situation Wade had, he can get surgery right now and fix it 100% by next season, or try to fix it by rehab and come back for the playoffs and risk re-injuring it. Surgery's probably the right move. Orlando's in shit

Looks like a spot just opened up for either Ray Allen or Daniel Gibson in the All-Star game.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Mo Williams, not Gibson. Or Vince. But I think it'll be Williams (or Ilgauskas? does it have to be a guard) after the hoopala of Cleveland getting 1 all-star. Which is kind of lame, IMO Williams will be the worst all-star since Jamal Magloire. Z is at least like the East's second best center
